The Perfect Family Vacation
We were looking for a different kind of family vacation away from the crowded theme parks. What we found at Camp Heart was the perfect space. First of all, you can beat being surrounded by all that pristine nature. There was plenty to do. Everyone had their time on their own and time as a family. Turn digging in the dirt into a lifetime of love for gardening. Kid's will be getting their hands dirty creating a planting one FREE 10inch hanging basket to take home and enjoy all summer long. Learning to care for your plant with water, fertilizer, sun, shade, soil, wind, etc. Dress for the mess. FREE to children 12 and under, please be sure children are accompanied by an adult. Overland Kids Halloween Party
Mark your calendars, put on your costume and join us for a fun spooky night with all your friends. We will have costume contests by age groups, pizza and a drink for the kids, scavenger hunt, games and prizes, and candy! This is a free, safe, indoor trick-or-treating event open to children ages 2 to 12 of Overland Residents, Overland Business Owners, and City of Overland Employees and their families. Parents are required to accompany their children for the entire duration of their stay. Registration will start on October 1st and will end on October 29, or until the maximum number has been registered. This event will be held on Friday October 30 in the gymnasium at the Overland Community Center from 6-8:15 pm, with check in time between 5:45 – 6:45 p.m. only. All participants must be in costume and donate at least one can food item to enter the event. Register on Oct. 1 and be one of the first 175 overland kids entered into this year’s extraordinary Kids Halloween Party.

Its time for BIG KIDS ONLY!!! This camp is dedicated to just 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. An afternoon...AND evening...of painting, ornaments, dinner, recess, and a movie! Perfect chance for parents holiday shopping, date night, girls night, one on one time w your younger kiddo...whichever! $50.00 per student. All supplies included- canvas painting, ornament supplies, paper craft. Dinner too- pizza, carrots, drink, and apple. Plus popcorn and treat. Space is limited so register early to ensure your space.

Your child will be immersed in language, culture and pure fun in this camp led by Laurel World Languages faculty and counselors who are fluent in the language. Languages are offered in an immersion setting to give campers the foundation they need to enter a language class at their grade level. While cooking tapas, crepes or egg rolls, our students spontaneously use their target language to request flavors, colors, and what they like and dont like.
