This camp gives students the chance to develop socially and musically. My 10 year old daughter loves the fact she can be out in nature, feels safe and can learn about music with like-minded children. Shockwave Fitness and Performance Sports Camps offer the perfect combination of expert training and FUN! Every parent wants greatness for their child/teen and our camps are designed to do just that! Our multi-sport camps are designed to improve every aspect of athletic development and sports performance, taking your young athlete from GOOD to GREAT. Camps are structured as followed; (age group appropriate) athletic development & conditioning untilizing calisthenics, medicine balls, bands, plyometrics, kettle bells, battle ropes, barbells, etc and multi-directional speed; dynamic running and technique, linear and lateral acceleration and deceleration, lateral shuffle, change of direction, cross over, retreatng skills, cutting, mistake recovery, and lots more. This program gives kids the opportunity to play competitive golf in the summer in a more developmental environment. Windykes par 3 course is suitable for all ages/abilities. Compete each Thursday from noon- 2 pm. Win gift certificates and meet kids your age. Each event is nine holes of golf and is broken into three age divisions: 6-8, 9-10, 11-13. Description: Frogs and newts and water bugs, oh my! Meet many kinds of aquatic critters as we explore Blue Jay Point?s pond, streams, and shores of Falls Lake. We?ll also spend time learning about all things aquatic through crafts, stories, snacks, and more! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eco-Kids is a three-day mini-camp at Blue Jay Point County Park for children ages 4-5 years old ready for independent learning. All participants should wear play clothes and closed-toe shoes, and bring weather appropriate outerwear to each Eco-Kids session. Spring Science Camp is a fun-packed, one week day camp led by top notch, enthusiastic Recreation Leaders where kids get to have ?Aha!? moments of creativity and discovery while building and playing with unique toys, astonishing gadgets, and fantastic gizmos -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please bring any recycled item for various planned science projects on the first day of Camp. Items can include - soda can, soda / water bottles, newspaper, milk cartons, etc. Field Trip - Griffith Observatory - Wednesday 3/30 Campers must bring a sack lunch daily, and are required to wear a camp t-shirt daily.
