Open to all SDS students in grades 6-8. Team will play in Spring Shelby Soccer League. First game March 1st. Players/parents will be contacted by coach with practice dates/times. Young Physician-Gayton Baptist - Gayton Baptist Church
Make NO bones about it; this camp is for the aspiring Young Physician. Campers will learn that their bodies are miles of blood vessels, hundreds of muscles, many thousands of hairs, a furnace, a filter, AND a fancy computer! Your Young Physician will really have a pulse on the human body with this camp! Campers receive their own stethoscope and percussion hammer. Game on Sports - Old Trail School
Come to Game On Sports in the Harrington McLaughlin Athletic Center and have some physical education fun. Campers will participate in multiple sports and small-sided games. We have numerous options for your child to have a positive sports experience. Campers will participate in the following activities during the summer: soccer, softball, baseball, track and field, handball, volleyball, tennis, basketball, bowling, lacrosse, flag football, floor hockey, Frisbee games, parachute, hula-hoops and orienteering. A-4 Its a Wrap - Aurora
Investigate the concepts of surface area, measurement, ratio and proportion through a visual and kinesthetic mathematical investigation. Participants will be presented with the challenge of calculating how many sheets of toilet paper it would take to wrap one of their group members using a limited selection of tools. This session will provide teachers with a wonderful hands-on, minds-on activity that could easily be implemented into any classroom! (630)9075950
