Teen Camp - Escondido, CA
Projected registration opening date: April 5, 2017 Teen Camp is open to all teens with or without previous experience with mindfulness, meditation, or camping. This is a special time for all teenagers–please come and join! During this retreat, we will come together as brothers and sisters to develop skills that help us learn to be alive in the present moment and to connect deeply with ourselves and others. When we learn to be mindful, a whole new world appears. Activities will include walking meditation, eating in mindfulness, participating in periods of noble silence, sitting meditation, dharma presentations, sharing in groups, Deep Relaxation Meditation, joyful service, games, and hiking. Other activities we may include are morning exercise, drinking tea meditation, and a performance night. We will stay in large tents (around 5 teens per tent). Teen girls will be assigned to a tent in Clarity Hamlet Oak Grove and teen boys to a tent in the Solidity Hamlet Campground. There will be monastic and lay staff members staying in both campgrounds. The monastery will provide tents, but we ask everyone to bring their own sleeping bags and sleeping mats. Participants are expected to attend the entire retreat and all activities. Kid's Summer Cooking Camp! - Murfreesboro, TN
Check out our Kid's Summer Cooking Camp! Jr.Chefs warm up the kitchen as they're taught the finer points of food preparation, keeping a clean work space, recipes & measuring ingredients… all while having fun! Kids will learn to make delicious appetizers, amazing salads, mouth-watering sauces, yummy breakfast dishes and favorites such as pasta, vegetables, rice, potatoes, fish, meats, and soups. Yes, there will be desserts, too! Each class is three hours of hands-on cooking! During the last half hour everyone sits down to enjoy the food hat they’ve made. Each week is designed with a theme in mind and no two weeks are the same ~ so sign up for as many as you’d like! We will happily provide veggie options for kids that are vegetarians. Once you have signed your child up for cooking camp you will receive an email questionnaire from us regarding dietary restrictions, preferences, allergies, etc. Please fill that out and return to us via email, so that we can be fully aware and make whatever modifications necessary. A pancake breakfast with sausage, juice, coffee, and milk. Proceeds to help send the boys from Van Buren Troop 67 to Summer Camp. Sponsored by the parents. The boys will help with serving. All are invited. Tickets will be $6 at the door. We will be preselling. Save and buy your tickets for just $5 beforehand
ECEA Youth Camping Trip - Killeen, TX
The youth have voted for their year-end field trip to be at Parrie Haynes Ranch for some camping and trail riding! If you are a current ECEA youth member, your campsite and day fees are paid for by youth club money raised at our youth fundraiser show. Please let me know if you are planning to attend, if you need RV hookups, how many horses you are bringing and how many people you are bringing so that I can make reservations next week. We will have orgainized group dinners and group breakfast. Bring your own drinks, lunches and snacks. It's going to be a blast!

Don?t just sit at home during Spring break! Join Coach Marv Lim & MGB in this 4 day basketball camp, tournament and carnival. Each day, players will learn how to dribble, pass, shoot with balance, as well as learning proper defense using the most efficient and easy to understand drills. Players will play basketball games each day. On the last day, campers will participate in MGB?s trademark basketball carnival with TONS OF PRIZES and will play in a tournament complete with referees and scoreboard. This is an awesome event for kids who want to start playing basketball and for existing players who want to enhance their basketball knowledge & fundamentals!
