Bring lawn chairs to relax in. This will be our final Kids Gun Safety Class this season. Ages 5-17. We have found that this is a great learning experience for parents and children alike. We are working with the local law enforcement community to have officers, equipment and K9's available for demonstration. Children will be shooting .22 and 9mm pistols as well as .22 rifles. An instructor will be with the children to assist in holding. Please confirm in the discussion thread if you are coming. Donations of cash or ammo will be accepted at the registration table but are not mandatory for attendance. All donations go to future children's classes. Registration will start at 12:00 so please be early! Thanks!!

Campers will discover loads of horribly fantastic experiments in Camp Jr. Grossologist! Campers learn about the science of "gross things" through our exciting chemistry and biology experiments! This is science with the squishy bits left in it! Ew! Gross! Blegh! Sample Projects: Bulging Bag of Brains! Simulated Snot! Baby Diaper Dissection! Owl Pellet Dissection! and much, much more! Primary Ballet - Old Trail School
The early childhood ballet class is designed to provide young students in grades K-2 the basic foundation for their dance education. This class welcomes beginners and will cover the fundamentals of classical ballet technique and etiquette. The important of strength, flexibility, rhythm, musicality, and memorization will be stressed. Students will work at a traditional barre, learn combinations in the center, and dance gracefully across the floor - the universal foundation for the training of a ballet dancer. Fun creative elements such as stories, songs, games, and other imaginative activities will keep the pace of the class lively and engaging. Art on the Wild Side - EcoAdventures
Art on the Wild Side July 11th-15th 9am – 4pm (Ages 5 – 11) Monday – Friday Unleash your expressive side at our Art extravaganza camp. Come color with the chameleons, paint with our pythons and craft with our crocodilians. Each day will feature a different Art project that will include etched nature juice glasses, no sew animal print pillows, paper mache tropical birds, woven place mats, polymer clay pens, under the sea painting and more! Throughout the week, we will display the campers masterpieces in our very own EcoAdventures Art Show. Color your summer with the coolest Art camp around town! Get Started on Summer Reading 5 - The Prairie School
Have fun reading a required summer reading book in a group setting. With the use of a variety of reading strategies, the course covers the reading of Number the Stars Students are asked to purchase the novel prior to the first class. All students should read the first two chapters of the book they are assigned before June 20th. Additional reading at home will be required.
