Confirmation Mini Camp - Burnamwood Camp
This mini camp will focus on what it means to be a Presbyterian in todays world. Campers learn about how we understand our faith through an explanation of the Cross and Flame Logo. Included in the week will be all the traditional camp favorite activities like campfires, swimming, 9 - square, crafts, hiking and more. The Harding Team Skills Volleyball Camp for 3rd to 5th graders builds on the skills acquired during the June Individual Skills Camp (serving, passing, setting, attacking). Fast-paced team drills and games focused on enhancing court awareness, better understanding of game flow, anticipation, readiness, transitioning between offense and defense. Lower school girls continue developing ball control and playing the game correctly (three touches "pass-set-hit" vs. volleyball "tennis"). Daily team recognition. Camp ends with a tournament, which is always a blast. Join us for a fun week with friends, classmates and teammates, playing the game we love. Weekly Theme: Circus Balance like a palm tree, roar like a lion, and stretch like a giraffe in this fun-filled yoga camp! Camp begins with a 40 minute class where students learn new poses and breathing techniques each day on an imaginary yoga adventure. Class ends by relaxing with peaceful music. After class, the excitement continues with yoga stories and games, a break for lunch, and a creative take-home art activity. Art projects are yoga themed and will relate to the poses learned that day. Fun activities throughout the week include parachute games, treasure hunts, outdoor craft time, face painting, and more!
