All Girls: Full Day option Saints Sports Camp is one of our most popular camps! This is an all-girls camp where girls are grouped by age, for small group instruction with an 8:1 ratio of children to counselors. Introduced to the fun and exciting, age appropriate, world of athletics, girls are also taught an appreciation for multiple sports, participation, sportsmanship, and physical fitness. They will gain a deeper understanding of sports through individual and team play in an environment that promotes enjoyment and healthy competition. My 16 year old daughter loved the digital summer art camp offered in Atlanta. She wants to go into Marketing in college. Digital marketing is the wave of the future, and she will be one step ahead by taking this introductory camp during the summer. She is already asking us to send her to camp again next summer.... This summer will be one for the books. 1st-5th graders are invited to join us for our 2015 Kid’s Camp. We will be spending a week in Crossville, TN at a beautiful camp ground. Each day is filled with swimming, hiking, fishing, group games, archery and much more. Every night we have special services specifically designed to speak into their young lives. Not only will they have a great fun-filled week of team building and new friendships, but their spiritual lives will be strengthened by the power of the word, scripture memorization and praise & worship. If you have any questions, please call the church office and ask for the Children’s department. Don’t let your kids miss out on this amazing summer. Cheer Tumbling Camp - Fargo, ND
TNT Kid’s Fitness and Gymnastics invites you to participate in our Cheer and Dance Tumbling Camp on Saturday, March 5, 2016. We will be teaching the basics through advanced tumbling. Every athlete gets the opportunity for 1 on 1 coaching and spotting. Running skills and standing skills will be taught in our state of the art gym equipped with trampolines, spring floors, mats, and a foam pit. This is a great camp to get that new tumbling pass or work on something new with a spotter! Bring your whole team and learn some new group tumbling to put in your routines. We will have spotters for athletes as young as 5 years old to collegiate. Collegiate athletes must provide proof of NCAA insurance coverage. There will be healthy concessions, bows, and T-shirts available for purchase. We will be hosting two sessions on Saturday, March 5th: 12:00pm -4:00pm: $40 per athlete 4:00pm- 8:00pm: $40 per athlete You can attend both sessions or choose just one. Each session includes groups divided by skill level and coached by a professional gymnastics tumbling coach. ACT-OUT! Acting School proudly announces Our Seventh Annual Youth Summer Camp and Production of "Tom & Huck!" The Story of Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn (all roles in "Tom & Huck!" are open, and may be cast to actors of any age 3-18, any race, or any gender). Since 2007, Act-Out! has been providing Bay Ridge & the Greater Brooklyn Area with world-class acting instruction at very affordable prices. We have served students of all ages and levels of experience, from beginners to Broadway veterans. Led by NYS-Certified drama teacher and Award-winning actor John Stillwaggon (see below for brief biography), students learn physical and vocal preparation, improvisation, line memorization, stagecraft, action/obstacle work, as well as character and scene analysis. Students and parents have reported vast improvements not only in acting ability, but in such life skills as conflict resolution, goal-setting, teamwork, discipline, memory, and self-esteem. At the close of the two-week camp (students meet for four hours each weekday), the student ensemble performs a full-length, original theatrical production. Students experience vast growth as artists and as human beings, and lifelong friendships are made. Entry-level robotics and programming. Campers learn robotics using LEGO® Education WeDo™. Our young creators build snapping alligators, race cars, talking birds, and spinning robots, attach sensors and motors, and then program their creations with the WeDo visual drag-and-drop programming software. Counselors guide and encourage exploration and trial and error field-testing. Instead of simply "snapping bricks together," campers are encouraged to think critically about how their robot design can be changed and to understand more complicated engineering techniques such as gear use, pulleys, and inclined planes.
