Instructor: Zarei This class will provide a positive experience while developing fundamental skills in math and reading. Our daily schedule will be filled with games and activities practicing phonemic awareness, word sorts, reading and listening comprehension. We will explore how mathematical concepts are used in everyday life, including computation, conservation and problem solving. Our Jr. S.T.E.A.M. Team members (ages 3-5), our S.T.E.A.M. Team members (ages 6-9), and our Counselors-in-Training (ages 10-13) will join forces to solve mysteries, visit the Louvre, take on the Big Apple, and visit the Texas Zoo. Families can register their campers for just one adventure or they can take on the full S.T.E.A.M. Team challenge by signing up for all 4 camps, giving them the title of Jr. CDM Ambassador (ages 3-9) or CDM Ambassador (ages 10-13). CDM Ambassadors will receive a “sneak peek” of the museum prior to its grand opening this fall, and while visiting, they will have the opportunity to share their genius ideas with museum staff and volunteers! During Week 1 of camp, the S.T.E.A.M. team will take on a big job. Girls High School Performing Resident Camp - Army & Navy Academy
Our 2016 High School Performing Camp is our premium program, consisting of high performing U18 athletes eager to train with some of the best in the country and develop in a competitive environment. Athletes will either be invited or accepted after application to attend this camp. Players will advance with USA Rugby Academy; a one-of-a-kind rugby experience which allows athletes to grow as players and offers additional opportunities for exposure and experience. Players will be pushed to develop their situational recognition around different attacks, defenses, and tactics. Our Performing Resident Camps are the top place to be selected for ATAVUS All-Star teams for both 7s and 15s competition opportunities. The camp will end with matches between teams hand selected by the camp coaches to not only allow athletes to implement what they have just learned into live play but to further throw their hand up for additional selections. There will be a shuttle from the San Diego Airport to the Army and Navy Academy. The commuter rate does not include the shuttle, board during camp, and only includes lunch. 1-888-989-8728

We will turn the Lower School Technology Lab into Minecraft World! Come join your friends, or meet new ones as we share our Minecraft adventures and worlds. And theres more- During this camp, we will also investigate coding and cad using other programs that encourage technical creative thinking. Too much screen time isnt good for anyone, so part of each day students will explore several types of manipulatives to stimulate their creative minds. NOTE: All students must have their own Log-in and Password for Minecraft on a PC. Go to Minecraft.net for information on how to purchase your membership to set-up your log-in and password.
