Learn to kayak, explore the rich maritime heritage of Gig Harbor and discover the marine environment! Spend camp days kayaking inside the harbor: learn kayak safety, equipment, basic strokes and maneuvers. Campers will receive a Stand Up Paddleboard orientation on the last day of camp too! Camp is offered in partnership with Lees SUP on the Gig Harbor waterfront. We're excited to bring bring back monthly Teen Nights in 2016! Teen Night is for anyone interested in spending some fun, wacky, creative time at your home away from home - Tanadoona! A week of fun, faith, and friends for kids who have completed grades K-5. Camp will include: worship, Bible study, trips & more! Camp runs August 15-19, with lunch and family dinner provided. Each day starts at 9 am with family dinner each night at 5:30 pm. Total cost is $100 per child with nonrefundable $25 deposit due by June 12. Volunteers & Chaperones needed. Documentary Teen Camp - Houston, TX
Young film enthusiasts learn how to make documentaries in a safe and fun environment. Learn story development, camera operation, lighting, sound, interviewing, editing and work with a real orchestra to score your final film. Invite your friends and family to watch your final documentary on screen. The campers will work with the music students in the film scoring program during the AFA's 2016 Summer Music Conservatory at Pershing Middle School. They will be documenting the AFA students' progress and the finished piece will be screened on July 29th at the MATCH. Cost: $275 REGISTER AT www.swamp.org

Our Guardians' Castle will be closed from Thursday, December 24th - Friday, January 1st. We will re-open for all of our regular classes and programs on Saturday, January 2nd. We look forward to seeing everyone in the New Year!

Foothills Day Camp - Session 3 - Community Services Department - City of Palo Alto
Celebrating 57 years of creating lifelong friends, long lasting memories, and a deep respect and love for nature, Foothills Day Camp is back for another incredible summer in the great outdoors. Each session includes pre and post camp, which means campers can be dropped off anytime between 7:30am-8:45am, and picked up anytime between 4-6pm (drop-off and pickup location is at the Girl Scout House). Additionally, campers will spend the second Thursday of each session sleeping under a blanket of stars at Camp Towle for the ultimate campout experience. Night activities include a delicious BBQ, animated storytelling around the campfire, a thrilling night hike, and more.
