Join us for the Effingham Winter Camp! Follow the link above to register or see your youth leader. Cost is $15 each and can be given to your youth leader. That will cover meals, snacks, and activities. Please bring a sleeping bag, pillow, warm clothes, and one roll of duck tape. We will be creating a cardboard city. Any needed medication can be given to the "camp nurse" who will hold and adminster. Parents, please send written directions. We will be collecting NEW socks for people in need. For every pair of new socks, your name will be entered into a draw for a $100 gift card to the Tanger Outlet mall! Start collecting socks for women, men, or children! Hey guys. We are in need of volunteers to help out at the Kid's Triathlon the university is hosting. This is a fun all day event on April 19th with several volunteer shifts to help fit your schedule! If you'd like to help make this a great experience for the young ones, please comment/post on this event telling us when you can volunteer. The shifts are: - 4:45am - 9am (this will entail mostly set up and concessions) - 9am – 1pm (concessions and help with trash pick-up during event) - 1pm – 4pm (concessions and help with trash pick-up during event) - 4pm – 7pm (concessions, tear down and help with trash pick-up during event) The more volunteers we get to help out with the event the better it helps support the club. Join us this year for the return of our nature camp campout and sleepover on the Twin Lakes campus complete with campfire, smores, movies, and an indoor sleepover! This is a fun, active, and educational camp! Some of the days can be moderately strenuous hikes and not suitable for very young children. For this reason, campers must be entering 2nd grade to attend. Please keep in mind the physical exertion of this camp when considering it for your child. Some of the activities for the week include: River walking at Henry Cowell State Park in Felton Tide Pools and beach at Natural Bridges Hike at Point Lobos State Park in Monterey and more! 831-465-3386
