This camp covers a broad range of topics including an extensive survey of animal anatomy featuring a comprehensive rat dissection, which includes neutering and suturing. Campers will spend a considerable time using the microscope as they study a variety of bacteria and parasite that prey on our favorite pets. This camp is for 10 year olds and older. Campers must have already taken our Camp Emergency Vet first. Haven Place Youth Summer Camp - New Haven, MI
Haven Place Youth Camp (July 31 thru Aug. 7). 7th-12th graders will be staying at Haven Place. Only $30.00 per person 8 days 7 nights. Registreation due by July 2oth. Last year we had 28 attend. Boys will be in tents outside with the adults on watch and the Ladies will be inside with the adult Ladies. They will be mentored by College age students who will be volunteering their time during the mission week. There will be at least four other key adults to chaperone this event. The week will consist of quiet time with the Lord, learning team building skills, sacrificial service to the community and learning to use their God given talents. There will be a praise and worship band, speaker and fun activities planned during the week. Each student will be going to various work sites. Each work site may have different projects, such as light construction, painting, clean up, landscaping, etc....In the afternoons students will be leading a community kids camp which will located at Haven Place. At Camp San Jose your child gets an unforgettable, traditional camp experience for under $5 an hour! Kids will learn computer programming using Scratch software (developed by MIT) and Code.org. During camp, students will think creatively while learning programming basics. Purple Pride Flag Football Camp (6-8 Grade) - Piedmont High School
In a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment, campers will learn all components of football including dynamic stretches, offense, defense, and special teams. Campers will learn the fundamentals of throwing, catching, running, kicking, and punting, as well as speedwork and coordination (attributes that transfer to all sports). All campers will participate in lead-up games, positional and individual work, and team games, concluding with 7 on 7 games.
