LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Teen Camp 9-4pm wk 2 - Frankfort Park District
The Frankfort Park District would like to present Teen Adventures Summer Day Camp program for youth entering 7 th ? 9 th grade in the fall. This full day camp will provide plenty of outdoor activities, water days, arts & crafts, and a field trip each week that a teen will enjoy. Special guests will be invited to this camp including sports, art and science instructors. Teen Adventures Summer Day Camp will be held at Commissioners Park, located at 22108 S. 80th Avenue in Frankfort, along with the use of Chelsea Middle School, which is located next to Commissioners Park. Drop off and pick up will take place at Chelsea Middle School, located at 22265S. 80 th Ave. The camp will run from 9 ? 4pm, Monday thru Friday, with a before and after care option. Bring a bag pack, lunch and water bottle each day. Lunch may be included on certain field trip days. Registration must be done in person at our main office located at the Founders Community Center, 140 Oak Street. A copy of your child?s birth certificate will be required at the time of registration. Gearing up for Georgia S.T.E.M. Day on May 6, we have partnered with the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System to co-host a bootcamp where teens will participate in a week long series of hands-on technology exercises. BHT Camp 2016 - First Informational Meeting - Powell, OH
Hi Everyone! It's almost 2016, which means it's finally time to start preparations for this summer's camp! The first informational meeting will be on Saturday, January 9th. There will be a total of two informational meetings (the second on January 31st). If you are applying to be a full time counselor for the first time, you are required to attend at least one of the meetings. Also, keep an eye out on your emails for the counselor application that will be released soon. Can't wait to see all of you on January 9th! Kids and digital cameras in nature – a recipe for fun and stunning images! Campers will capture their unique perspectives of the natural world on their daily adventures in the mountains. On Thursday, campers will have time to select, edit and crop a photo for a Friday art show and celebration!
