Middle school students are invited to attend our Junior High camp! Middle school is a period of life where youth are learning about themselves and about others. Theres no greater place for young people to do that than at camp. Campers will spend the week playing exciting games like 9 Square in the Air, singing their favorite camp songs, reconnecting with old friends while making new one, canoeing and so much more. Whats not to love about Junior High camp?! Basketball Day Camp for youth (boys and girls) ages 7 - 15. Hosted by Idaho Slam Jam, featuring four professional basketball players, Tammy Brawner, Chris Staples, Zig Zag, and Werm. There will be two sessions at $25 per session. Session fees cover the camp, a camp t-shirt, and one ticket for the family BBQ between sessions. Morning session starts at 10am, and the afternoon starts at 1pm. BBQ is at noon. Additional BBQ tickets can be purchased online for $5 each.

Colorado lacrosse camps are designed to offer players both an innovative and competitive environment to develop their skills. Camp will emphasize the importance of mastering the basics while providing a challenging atmosphere for each player to take their game to the next level and perform more advanced skills. Each day will combine skill instruction with playing sessions. Players will develop individual skills as well as offensive/defensive team concepts during the day sessions. Calling all junior adventurers for another summer of discoveries! In this half-day camp, your sons will enjoy all that The Heights campus has to offer. With beautiful stands of native tree species, numerous bird boxes, and a room full of past discoveries, there will be no lack for exciting new areas of learning. Two days will be dedicated to the animal kingdom – mammals, insects, reptiles and more. Another will focus on seeds and plants. – we cant live without them! Two days will also be devoted to experiments and discovery, bringing their knowledge to life. In the course of daily adventures around campus, campers will climb the trees theyve heard about and capture the insects theyve drawn. With a take-home booklet filled with artistic learning exercises, your son will be drawing on his discoveries from this camp for years to come! Staff: Peter Vitz, 4th grade homeroom teacher, has taught natural history at The Heights for 5 years. Contact: Peter Vitz at The Heights School, Notes: Usual dress is normal summer attire.
