AKA presents Football and Basketball for Week 9 of the AKA All Sports Camp at the Coon Rapids Ice Center. With the NFL, college, and high school mini-camps getting started all around the country, we wanted to the North Metro a youth football camp. Boys and girls are welcomed and encouraged to partake in the football events. Events include drills, obstacle courses, offensive and defensive techniques and plenty of flag football games for everyone. Kids will also get a Basketball Camp, complete with skills, games and competitions. Featured Field Trip : Valley Fair Amusement and Water Park, August 6. FYI - The actual day camp runs from 9am-4pm though kids are welcome to get dropped off as early as 7am and picked up as late as 6pm. There is so much activity between these hours! They need a camera any kind it dont matter just as long as it takes photos. they get a small photo session that day also. We will be hiking and taking photos enjoying the day. The minni session you will receave up to 5 differnt poses with a cd to print them from and copyright. ( take a week to get the cd back) The Cost is $60.00 cash based or credit card with pay pal. Money has to be paid by April 16th 2016 if it rains we will rescheduel and if you cant make the rescheduel date we can do a photo session with the child that is signed up at a lator day. if you can not come for some reason their is no refunds you will receave the tee shirt and bag. you are responable for dropping kids off and pick up is no later than 2pm. The Peachtree City Police Department will be hosting a Teen Community Emergency Response Team (TEEN CERT) camp beginning June 13th, 2016. The classes will be held Monday through Friday of that week ending on June 17th. The classes will start at 0800 and end at 1230 each day. The camp will be held in the training room at the Police Station. The TEEN CERT Program educates young adults about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. Prospective candidates must be between 13 and 17 years of age at the time of registration and a resident of Georgia. Applicants will be required to complete an enrollment form and applicable waivers. The application and waivers must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. A local check will be conducted to determine the background of the participants as a pre-condition to acceptance into the program.
