I think in this day and age it's so important for girls to have the opportunity to bond with other girls without distraction. Yes, I'm talking about boys and texting! What's amazing is that our daughter didn't seem to miss either this summer. She came back from Alpengirl so confident and self-assured. She's also eating a lot more salad. This summer camp is all about those Radical Reptiles! We will slither with snakes and lounge with lizards as we discover the the scaly world of local reptiles through games, crafts, and up-close animal encounters! STRIDE - Germantown Academy
STRIDE is a fun after-school running and character-building program for boys in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. Throughout the program, the focus is on doing ones personal best, not competing with each other. STRIDE meets twice a week for a total of 10 weeks. The practices are held after school and last for 75 minutes. Each session includes a lesson/discussion, a game/activity, and a running workout with trained coaches. At the end of 10 weeks, the boys will run in a 5K with more than 1000 other area youth. 267-405-7520

This is where it all begins! Learning fun and balance as young as 2 years old, kids and families spend 45 minutes doing age appropriate games and skills in order to achieve proper balance and steering skills. Strider (push bike) camp is geared toward kids who are walking with their bikes, not fully sitting on the seat and not yet gliding or striding. But, it is also for those kids who are ready to learn how to turn, stop and maneuver obstacles. Parents will be hands on during this class.
