What this camp might lack in 5 star hotel lodging they more than make up for in personal attention to campers. They remember every camper by name, send them birthday cards, and make sure each one is recognized as a VERY special person. They have been doing this for 35 years with an impeccable safety record. August Summer Camp Crop - Saturday - Garrettsville, OH
Summer Camps are no-frills, get-a-lot-done, fun-filled social events. We are trying something new this year! We will join Debi Morris at her campground, Traveler’s Woods. There will be no fee to crop and we will plan our potluck meals in advance. Camping is available – Campers with water/sewer/electric are $20.00/night; tents with electric plug are $10.00/night. Showers, a bathhouse, and a pool are available for campers. Optional Friday night add-on to camp. (Provide your own camper or tent, payment upon arrival.) Digital scrappers and card makers welcome at all events too! Join us for Saturday only or Sunday too.

This summer camp is for teens 13 - 17, who want to learn how to create a production ready short script. Students will be paired in groups of two and will work collaboratively in creating a shootable three to five page script. Students who participate in TheFilmSchool Camp will receive guaranteed admission into the SIFF Teen Production Camp (separate registration and fee through SIFF Education). Scripts from the TheFilmSchool Camp will be chosen for production in the SIFF Teen Production Camp and will be shot at Seattle Center. Date: August 15 - August 19. Time: 10:00 am - 3:30 pm Location: Siff Film Center at Seattle Center Campus

North Shore Rugby Academy - North Shore Rugby Academy
Youth Rugby is the fastest growing sport in America and is also an Olympic sport once again. New to the North Shore Area, the Rugby Academy introduces girls and boys ages 4 to 14 to a variety of fun and safe non-contact games. The rules are simple and easy to learn. Participants will learn great ball and running skills, while making friends playing an internationally popular sport. North Shore Rugby Academy strives to promote a positive, encouraging and professional coaching environment. The goal of the program is to ensure that each player has a safe and enjoyable sporting experience, learning the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship and camaraderie. Equipment requirements are minimal, dress for the weather and be ready to have a great time playing a safe version of Rugby! Enjoy the fruits of your labor as you plant items to take home! *Please note: Students who are registered for a morning and afternoon camp within the same week are invited to stay for FREE supervised lunch and recess between 11:30 am-12:30 pm. Balletmäuse mit Steffanie Keim invites boys and girls on a magical journey to discover how they can express themselves through dancing, discovering body coordination, musical awareness through age appropriate exercises by using their imagination and promoting creativity, self-confidence and development. Young dancers will be introduced to ballet through games, stories and imaginative exercises and will discover the joy of creative movement. The focus is on songs and dancing to music using props and imagination and basic co-ordination. Miss Steffanie is originally from Germany and has studied ballet, jazz and top in Heidelberg and New York City. She has taught in the Young Dancers Program at Steps on Broadway in New York City and completed the David Howard teacher certification. Children through young adults with HFA/Aspergers Syndrome have the opportunity to explore the art of improv, drama, and music with their peers. Drama Club is directed by a drama professional and music therapist who have extensive experience working with children and adults on the spectrum.This group provides participants with the opportunity to improve their communication skills within a small group or in front of a larger audience. Research has shown that children who participate in Drama/Acting activities improve their ability to react and respond to imaginary situations and feelings and eventually generalize these skills into their daily living. Acting can improve a childs self-confidence, communication and relatedness with their peers. This years production is Shrek the Musical Jr. 678-720-2177
