What is "Work A Thon"? It's a great opportunity for young people and youth groups to get together, have fun, help the camp, and earn free weeks to use or share with friends. "What do I need to do?" Week 10: Make Your Mark (Ages 5-7) - Ann Arbor Art Center
How did some of the worlds greatest artists make it big? Many famous artists started out by learning the basics and then broke all of the rules! Often, they were the rebels of the art world, trying new and innovative ways of doing things. This week, we will follow in their footsteps by experimenting with the styles of several different artists and adding your own special twist. Beginning Band (AM) - MA Lower School Band Room
This course will focus on learning the basics of the woodwind, brass or percussion instrument of each students choice. Learning activities will center around small group instruction with like instruments, music theory and games, and a group rehearsal with all instruments combined. The week will conclude with a short informance by all band members. Open to students entering 5th grade who have no previous experience on a band instrument. Prerequisite: Students must provide their own band instrument or arrange for rental through the Middle School Band Director and purchase a band method book to be used in class. 6127287745 x2

Vanderbilt Golf Camp - Vanderbilt Legends Club
For boys and girls, ages 10-17, of all skill levels. The price includes meals, housing, golf activities, and a camp amenity package. Each student is evaluated at the beginning of camp to ensure that the juniors of similar ability are grouped for instruction geared to their needs with student/Instructor ratio of no more than 6:1. Morning instruction rotates stations for putting, chipping, pitching, bunkers, full swing, games, and competition. The afternoon session is on-course play with coaches to work on shot selection and course management. At the conclusion of each day, campers will enjoy guest speakers, seminars, a tour of Vanderbilt Universitys campus, movies, field games, and night golf.
