Through daily exposure to textile media, campers explore new avenues of creativity, improve their dexterity, and make new friends while learning about historical and contemporary use of the fiber arts. In addition to structured class and craft time there is daily free play and outdoor time, weather permitting. Campers aged 11-12 visit TAC daily, for project-based classes inspired by their weekly field trip to a current textile related exhibition in New York. Session II explores songs & scenes from Shrek Jr. Camp focuses on putting the production together as well as healthy vocal/singing production with dance combinations and character development while learning to seamlessly combine these disciplines.
