This camp is designed for our 3, 4, & 5 year old sprouting farmers. Children will be involved in animal care activities, meeting the new farm arrivals, nature walks, and simple farm cooking activites. These day camps are offered to teach responsibility and kindness for the farm, each other and our environment. Each day is planned for our Sprouting Farmers and offers an excellent hands-on opportunity for exploration and growth. Note: This camp runs Monday- Friday from 9-noon 860-535-8171

How does stuff break? To answer this question, students investigate how stuff is made and in doing so, will break stuff! Destructive and nondestructive tests will be conducted to investigate catastrophic failures such as bridge collapse, airplane structural failure, containers that leak, pipes that burst, and electrical failures. Advances in materials are at the core of significant technological advances, and we are in a materials revolution today! Students experience a hands-on introduction to materials science, engineering, and technology, joining researchers who push boundaries further than ever before, using biology, chemistry and physics to expand our technological frontiers. Minimum 10 students. PREREQUISITE: prerequisite Science Levels 1 and 2 CREDIT: Semester upper course credit in Science 615-383-0661

Sometimes with so many games going on at once, spread over so many different venues, quality players get overlooked. Owls Baseball Camp attempts to solve both problems by offering the first ever Pre National Championship Player Evaluation Camps. Each session will be open to players in the 9th-12th grade. Each player will be given the opportunity to jump on the radar of the many coaches and scouts expected to be in attendance by impressing in a skill evaluation workout while also obtaining valuable instruction that can be used to help take each of their games to the next level.
