This Girl Scout Camp is nestled in nature’s paradise between meadows, woodlands and a beach area. My 11 year old daughter loves to participate in archery, swimming, kayaking, crafts, boating and hiking. She has developed a love for nature along with improved social skills. Parents the Youth have chosen Camp #2 which is May 30th - June 3rd. I know it seems far away but we MUST have an idea on a head count so we can go ahead and get our week reserved. It will more than likely be 100% full within a week so we would choose week #3 which is June 6th-June 10th. THE KIDS are choosing Camp #2 because of the speaker we had last year will be at Camp #2. Please chat with your YOUTH AS SOON AS POSSIBLE and let me know by this Wedneday if at all possible. I would like to send in the registration fee for each kid this week to reserve our spots. How many of your students say that √9 = ±3? This may have to do with a lack of understanding of functions. This session will highlight some of the nuances of functions with less formal, non-formula driven examples with which students can expand their understanding. (630)9075950

Our P.M. Club provides a safe environment for children to enjoy after 3:30 p.m., when our regular programs end. Activities include arts and crafts, outdoor organized games, free play, and reading time. Bring a snack and a water bottle—and wear sunscreen, a hat, and athletic shoes. If you fail to pick up your child on time, late pick-up fees apply. (Be sure to read Pick-Up policy.) Kristen Bauer is a first grade teacher at Zuni Elementary School, where she is dedicated to motivating children to learn to the best of their abilities. Instructor: Horsch. This camp is a great way to have your energetic boy or girl learn to cheer for the home team. They will be introduced to basic cheer moves and stunts. The athletes will also learn basic tumbling, focusing on correct stretching and flexibility techniques. Each camp week will include daily crafts and a parent performance at the end of the week. Each girl athlete will receive a competition style cheer bow, and boy will receive a megaphone to keep 316-771-2289

Projects will include some major clean-up work, such as clearing brush and building fire lines, fix-up jobs, wood cutting, simple construction and other needed repairs or improvements to camp facilities and grounds. Please bring suitable work gear such as heavy-duty boots or shoes, durable clothing, gloves and rain gear. Project campers must provide their own bedding.
