I think in this day and age it's so important for girls to have the opportunity to bond with other girls without distraction. Yes, I'm talking about boys and texting! What's amazing is that our daughter didn't seem to miss either this summer. She came back from Alpengirl so confident and self-assured. She's also eating a lot more salad. Coats for Kids 2015 Campaign
Join us as we collect NEW Coats for Kids and cover the end zone of Joan C. Edwards Football Stadium! We will be collecting coats all through the months of October and November. Drop your NEW coat off today, at the designated Goodwill locations (Virginia Avenue, 9th Avenue, Lavalette, Milton & Barboursville) or at the Marshall home games on 10/24 and 11/14. Donate a NEW coat for the campaign and be entered in a drawing for: 4 chairback seats to the Marshall vs. FIU game on 11/14 & an on-field experience at the game. 2016 Survival Day Camp - Botetourt County Recreation Department
This day camp will take adventure, competition and teamwork to fun heights as we play and do creative activities to see who will take the Survivor prize. Come as an individual or bring your friends to this outrageously fun day camp. We will do survivor games and activities in the mornings and enjoy the cool water of Lake Eagle in the afternoon. Lunch provided each day with kid friendly foods. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Participants will need to bring a towel, bathing suit, sunscreen and waterbottle for the day. Lunch will be provided but if a child has an allergy to some foods, you will need to pack their lunch. Children will be dropped off at Camp Eagle at 9am and will need to be picked up at 4pm each day.
