St. Catherine's Koinonia 3 (SCK3) - Panora, IA
Mark your calendars! It's not-quite-but-almost that time of year again! St. Catherine of Siena will be having its third annual Koinonia retreat at the end of February next year (2016). What's Koinonia? It's a Greek word that means 'community'. This student-led retreat helps students grow in their friendship with the community as well as their relationship with God. More details will come soon, but for a general idea of what's going on, here's a bare-bones schedule: -Friday, Feb. 26: we leave St. Kate's and carpool to the St. Thomas More Retreat Center in Panora, IA in the late afternoon and stay for two nights and what turns out to be two days which we spend in prayer and fellowship with one another -Sunday, Feb. 28: we leave Panora in the late morning/early afternoon and return to DSM Applications will be available in the near future. The cost for the retreat is $25 (financial aid is available to those who need it) and more details will come as we get closer to February. And feel free to invite your friends! You don't have to be Catholic to come!

SUNDAY MAY 15th at Osbourn High School football fields in Manassas 9:00-12:00 kids ages 4-15 Football agility drills,blocking,tackling techniques,running,kicking,speed and agility and much more !! $25 per child on site registration first come first served. IN CASE OF STEADY RAIN CAMP WILL BE RESCHEDULED FOR A LATER DATE. RULES: * $25 per child CASH ONLY no checks or credit cards *Parents will not be allowed on the fields but may watch from outside the fence. This is to insure crowd control and make sure the children can focus on the coaches. *No Refunds *All waivers must be completed and turned in before your child is allowed to enter the practice field. PARKING available at METZ or near the OHS practice field back entrance. * No abusive language towards volunteers coaches or staff. If this becomes a problem you will be asked to leave immediately. We maintain a high staff to camper ratio for the benefit of all campers. The camp is staffed by current Flagler College coaches, other college coaches from local schools and universities, elite youth academy coaches as well as current and former Flagler College mens and womens tennis players. The camp will consist of: Developmental, physical & technical training QuickStart program Tournament match play Video analysis and mental conditioning The facilities include 6 tennis courts, pool, beach volleyball, tennis table and a Student Center to have lunch and hang out 305-333-1242

This will start on September 29th and conclude on November 3rd. Each club will meet 5 times during this period. Clubs are available to students in grades 2 through 6. Please review the club descriptions to see what options are available for your child. Registration is only available online, please do not send anything via mail or email. Clubs will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis and fill up quickly! Once a session is filled it will no longer be available on the web site. Enrollment will be open September 19th @ 7pm and conclude at midnight September 23th. All clubs are $35. All payments are due upon registration. You will receive confirmation of enrollment via email. All club notifications will be sent via email. If a club is cancelled for any reason (i.e. inclement weather) there will be no make-ups. This camp will combine drama, with the music and dance styles of Michael Jackson! We will be acting out an original interpretation of this classic Norwegian Folktale with a BIG twist! In this tale, we learn that Father Troll is only trying to feed his family, and that he is not so back after all. We will be exploring the MJ/Jackson 5 hits; Blame it on the Boogie, Leave Me Alone, Wanna Be Starting Something, Bad, Beat It, and Man in the Mirror. 206-473-9580

Back to a time when boys played outside, used their imaginations, created things, destroyed things…all to learn how they worked! This week we will have tons of fun as we learn all kinds of stuff our grandparents (and even some of our parents) played as kids. Learn the art of paper airplane making, stickball, build tripwires, work on secret codes, first aid, Navaho code talkers…and so much more! 816-436-6228

Join us for our NEW workshop program available for ages 6-12. This 12-week program meets once a week on Fridays from 4-6:30pm beginning February 12th and the end result is a full workshop production of the tale of Alice in Wonderland! The last session of the 12 weeks is a full dress rehearsal and the performance date is Saturday, May 7th. Students experience a full production with costumes, lighting, sound & scenery. 845.444.2787
