The Mid-High Camp is a 2-day camp that will feature intense drills and practices for campers entering 7th-9th Grade in Fall 2016. Camp instruction will be provided by the OU Football Coaching Staff along with select current Sooner players. This camp will help improve your campers skills while they experience the Sooner Championship tradition alongside our elite coaches and athletes! PLEASE NOTE: Meals and lodging are not provided for Commuter Campers. Campers must be picked up and dropped off by an authorized adult for EACH practice session. Power of Drawing Camp Mornings - Clague Middle School
[] This summer, for our first session of the day, the ALL NEW "Power of Drawing!" summer classes will take you on adventures to places, spaces, and other worlds with specialized drawing workshops. First, we zoom to the farthest reaches of the galaxy with our new friend, Sketch, and his colorful cast of cartoon friends! From astronauts in jetpacks to out-of- this-world alien lifeforms, our students will learn how to compose well-drawn cartoon figures in dynamic poses. Then we tackle a world of monsters, creatures, and creeps - from furry to scaly! For our adventure in Color and Design, each student will create a personalized Japanese kimono, an Escher-like graphic, or a study in primitive art. For the last adventure of the day, all artists will choose either still life drawing or portraiture as a study in technique. We will explore fine art (realistic, stylized, and abstract), graphic design, and cartooning using pastels, colored pencils, and professional marker techniques that will enhance ones analytical and perceptual drawing skills! This week delves deeper into the Lego Mindstorms robotics systems. Attendees will learn more about programming the Mindstorms robots and practice more advanced build techniques while making some cool Lego robot projects. This camp runs from 9AM-3PM, M-F.
