During our time together we will explore the options for brainstorming and will work together to create some fantastic written materials. Students will learn tips to become better writers--whether developing a poem, fictional story, or essay. Patty Soemer holds a Masters degree in education from Liberty University and has taught various subjects to a variety of ages for the past 21 years. Aqua Camp After-Camp Care Spring Break - Albany Aquatic Center
After-Camp care will be available from 4:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon after Aqua Camp ends. Participants will be treated to more activities, crafts and games until they are picked up. There will be time for snack so please pack your child with additional food. Parents or guardians with proper documentation are free to pick their children up before 5:00pm. Join the felting fun! Students will be encouraged to create their own patterns. They will be taught to use basic sewing skills making felt stuffies. The children will also be taught to needle felt, turning wool batting into flat felted works of art, and 3-D felted figures. 206-957-1533

Each week students will be given a readers theater script to memorize and act out in their group. Then the group will create simple costumes and props to go with the readers theater play. They will perform their skit at the end of each week, creating four readers theater skits during the summer school session.
