2017 Teen Weekend - De Leon Springs, FL
Teen weekend is for youngsters age 12-17, and campers have the option to bring a friend of the same sex and approximate age. This weekend program allows for interactions amongst peer groups, as well as a learning experience for campers without diabetes. Educational sessions relating to “teen issues,” “school issues,” and “How-to-be-a-friend” are led by pediatric endocrinologists, nurses, dieticians and mental health professionals. We understand that networking and the support of a teen’s peers is critical at this age, so we provide fun and interactive activities such as a beach party, luaus, casino night, and a lot of land sports.

Jr. High 1 (Girl Registration) - Pioneer Bible Camp
Jr. High 1 is still a combined camp. Registration of male and female campers is separate for processing purposes. We offer two Jr. High camps. Both of these weeks are filled with new activities as well as other favorites, including White War, horseback riding (hour and a half trail ride), basketball and sand volleyball. Students create original works of art, working with sound, video, and/or media installation. Instruction covers techniques for shooting video, studio lighting, recording sound, 2-d animation, green screen compositing, and the basics of video and sound editing. Students utilize the computer labs, hardware and sound studio facilities of the Mason Gross School of the Arts media area. The intensive will culminate in a public showcase of student artwork produced in class. This camp is designed to work with girls on the basic fundamentals of basketball. Individual skill drills include: shooting, dribbling, rebounding, passing, defense and offensive moves.
