LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Swim, Tennis and Soccer Camp - Community Services Department - City of Palo Alto
Please sign up early for our popular tennis, soccer & swim camps held at Palo Altos Rinconada Park and Pool. Participants start each day with a tennis lesson 10-11:30am from the staff of Tennis program. Following tennis, the participates will eat with swim staff to eat from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm in the Rinconada Park. Following lunch the participates will head out to the field to engage in soccer from 12:30-2:30 pm with the Skyhawks coaching staff. After Skyhawks Soccer, the participants will head over to the Rinconada Pool where they will enjoy swimming lessons, water games and be supervised by our lifeguards. Cost includes tennis lessons, soccer lessons, entrance to recreation swim, and supervision. Participants should bring a bag lunch, tennis racket, bathing suit, sunscreen, comfortable shoes and a towel each day. Ages 8-12. Pre and Post Care will be available before and after this camp. This 68 year old camp is designed for children from 2nd grade to 11th grade. The camp has a strong Jewish heritage which influences the activities they offer. My 12 year old son enjoys the friendly staff and the fun activities. He has grown in confidence while discovering who he is in relation to the community at large. Summer Camp '15 will be here before we know it. The projected dates are August 3rd - 6th (may be subject to change). Total cost is $275 per student. Early bird pricing is $225 and that is ONLY with a non-refundable $125 deposit in by APRIL 1st. After April all deposits are $100 to reserve your spot with total cost $275. Our Fredericksburg Adventure day camp for 7-14 year old runs Mon-Fri from 8:30 to 4:30. Students will participate in ensemble building, improvisation games, and exercises to stretch their imagination as they develop skills to think on their feet.
