Jammin Kids Inc. presents "Camp Jam," an all encompassing camp that gives your child hands on experience in many genres such as acting, dance, science, fitness, career exploration entrepreneurship, and more. Camp Jam is open to all children ages 5-13 (4 year olds are welcome if potty trained or turning 5 during the summer). Tuition is $70 per week (includes snacks). Children will explore the ukulele, learn a few chords, create songs, act out stories and create through hands-on arts exploration. It follows a typical summer day in the life of the Nutshell Kids, a group of neighborhood friends, including Pierre, Alligator, Johnny, Chef Jeff from the Nutshell Library books, and Rosie and Kathy from The Sign on Rosies Door. Rosie — the self-proclaimed sassiest kid on her block of Brooklyns Avenue P and based on a girl Sendak knew as a child growing up in Brooklyn — entertains everyone by directing and starring in an Oscar-winning movie based on the exciting, dramatic, funny (and slightly exaggerated) story of her life.
