My son loved Camp Broad Rock. There was a variety of indoor and outdoor activities for my 12 year old son to choose from at this camp. This camp is for children from preschool through grade 12. Unlike other camps, Camp Broad Rock has an indoor aquatic center. My son was excited to know he could swim regardless of what the weather was like outdoors. Join the YSI naturalists and develop your investigative skills to help us solve a natural mystery! Learn how to utilize your senses and then employ the tools of a scientist to delve more deeply into the mysteries of the world around us. Look for clues that animals leave behind and see what you can discover. Conduct tests on water and soil and learn how to use magnification tools to examine small evidence and to see things that hide from the naked eye. Macs National Soccer School is founded upon the experience and vision of Tom McIntosh. Coach McIntosh was the 2007 & 2008 C-USA Coach of the Year and lead The University of Tulsa to the C-USA Regular Season and Conference Tournament Championships in 2007, 2008, 2009 & 2012. TU is also a perennial Top 25 team and has NCAA tournament play which includes making it to the Final 8 in 2009 for the second time in 5 years. In addition, Coach McIntosh is the winningest coach in school history. Tom continues toward his goal of building the best youth soccer school in the country by customizing each session to the age and ability level of the individual player. Age Range: 7 and up Campers will spend a project based learning week exploring all things Robotics. Construct your own Robot dog or sculpture from recycled parts and junk and then add robotic technology to make it move. Build a small bristle bot robot who paints. Hitting/Base-Running Camp Team Registration - Pine Bluff, AR (Taylor Field)
PRO-DAY Baseball Hitting/Base-Running Camp will be held on Saturday, February 20th at Historical Taylor Field. The Camp will be held from 9 am - 12 noon for ages 8-15 years of age. Incase of inclement weather, the clinic will be moved into the Indoor Facility at the Stadium. Participants will get to hear instruction on proper hitting techniques and to help improve ones swing from a staff that has been involved in professional baseball on all levels. Since 1989, PRO-DAY Baseball has been teaching young players the finer points of the game, have sent hundreds of players into professional baseball, along with hundreds and hundreds of others have went on to receive baseball scholarships to colleges/universities across the country. Players need to register in advance, the camp is "Limited". Proceeds will benefit the John Gross Memorial Scholarship, which is given to a high school senior each year that plans to go off to college to play baseball and continue their education. 888-224-6150
