DETAILS Michael Crabtree's 4th Annual Youth Mini Camp Powered by: The Dallas Park and Recreation Department WHO: Michael Crabtree, NFL wide receiver for the Oakland Raiders, is hosting his fourth annual Michael Crabtree Annual Youth Mini Camp. Crabtree will be joined by more than 20 other NFL players. WHAT: The mini-camp is designed to help participants develop and improve their football skills, sportsmanship and teamwork, while building confidence both on-and-off the field. Campers of all levels will be coached by the pros, college stars and football coaches from the area. Instruction will focus on the team concept of football and fundamental skills. For riders who have already completed the Coasters Camp or frequently ride on their own, this camp will give them an opportunity to expand their riding radius and try out various riding styles. Confident Coasters experience the benefits of cycling by stretching to new destinations while still having an opportunity for fun and games! Skills they will develop: • Proper execution of emergency and anticipated stops • Avoiding hazards • Shoulder check or scanning • Controlling speed while riding down a hill • Communicating with other riders • Understanding when to signal and communicate with other road users • Tube patching 503-288-8864 x321
