Students in Game Design will have the opportunity to create a video game using Kodu Game Lab! Our theme is "Sea Life". Your child will utilize the sea creatures, objects and "bots" in order to save the underwater environment from toxic dredge and ooze. Students will learn to program an underwater submarine to clean up the ocean floor and defend our sea life. We will build the seafloor with the terrain tools, add sealife and objectives. Students will learn how to program scoreboards and timers in order to tell their story and program enemy bots. MONDAY Winter/Spring 2016 AM Parent Toddler Group18-36 Months - All Saints Episcopal Church
Montessori Atrium Parent Toddler Group 18-36 Months The parent-toddler group meets once a week in the All Saints Montessori Toddler Atrium environment. Children accepted into the program are ages 18-36 months and must be accompanied by parent. Children need not be potty trained to be accepted into our program. Children explore activities of Practical Life, Sensorial and Language materials along with seasonal presentations of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd with the aid of a Montessori atrium guide. Parents observe and learn together with their children gaining insights into supporting their childs growth and development, nurturing the whole child. A Montessori book group, parenting support and exploration of creating a Montessori space in the home as an aid to the child are discussed. There are no refunds once the program begins. Counselors-In-Training - Wk. 7 (FD) - F. H. Hammond Elementary School
Teens, ages 12-14, get the opportunity to gain valuable experience and have alot of fun as a CIT. This camp will teach them how to be great future camp counselors through planning, team building, teaching and supervision. Upon aging out of this camp, does not mean you can apply for a camp counselor. You must be 18. Each week a parent letter and itinerary will be compiled for you to take which will list all activities/trips for that week. These will be available on the sign-in table each week. All camp activities will be held between 9AM-4PM. Parents are able to drop their child(ren) off between 7AM-9AM and pick them up between 4PM-6PM. All scheduled activities and trips will take place during the 9AM-4PM time frame. Early drop-off/pick-up will be designated for free time, smaller organized games and/or board games. Full-day campers should pack a lunch, 2 snacks and plenty of water. Half-day campers should pack a snack and plenty of water. All campers should have their own sunscreen and wear gym shoes.
