We are the experts in training children in the 12 & Under Red-Orange-Green USTA player developemnt model With over 40 years of playing and teaching expirence we are qualified to create programing for all levels of player from 4 years old to 94 years old. We are a professional run company with a keen sense of detail and customer service. We are USPTA & PTR certified and heavily involved with the USTA NorCal in 12 & Under tennis, Jurnior Team Tennis, the Coaches Commision, and are a Certified USTA Schools trainer. Our goal is to positively impact young people to ensure character development and the mastery of life skills through instruction in the game of tennis. Our Mission is simple: Bring tennis to 30,000 kids in the greater Stanlislaus, San Joaquin, and Merced counties over the next two years. The result is creating a tennis player for life. American University student teachers are looking for enthusiastic third graders who like challenges, mysteries, and problem solving missions. As part of an American University research project, School of Education professors have partnered with Janney Elementary School to test enduring understanding in reading as well as in mathematics in third grade students. During the sessions, third grade students will participate alongside our friends Poly and Gon in enriching activities and games in which they will be challenged to think outside the box by practicing problem solving and pattern identification skills. All lessons, activities, and games will be created and directed by American University student teachers for Janney third graders. The Actors Workshop Club is geared toward 5th-8th grade students who love to act/perform and want to learn more about how to create theatrical productions. Taught by Philadelphia actor and performing artist, Katie Croyle, for the past three years, Actors Workshop explores performance techniques and methods, including: improvisation, vocal exercises, physical movement (and dance), script study/scene work, and self-created work. This club is a great opportunity for students to explore their own creativity and use performance as a medium for self-expression.
