If you're opening to travel, I would suggest making a list of what you (and your son) are looking for in a camp. Is there a particular activity he likes or would like to try? Is a religious based program important, if so, how important? Do you want it to be an all boys camp or would you prefer a coed experience? I suggest looking at American Camp Association Accredited camps. Also program length is important. If your son is independent and does well away from home you could consider a two-week program. If he does not do well away...

It happened so fast! Only two months till Illage Summer Camp Year SIX! Can't believe it! We have so much magic in store for you this year at Camp! SO MUCH!! And on June 30th you have a chance to help us make that magic happen! We will be hosting a Karaoke Raffle Fundraiser Kickoff Party for Camp at everyones favorite karaoke dive bar, Chopsticks 3!! This is our chance to reunite, generate momentum, raise funds, and sing duets about it. There will be a Raffle with heaps of incredibly thoughtful and inspired Gift Certificates and Prizes for the winning! Donations gladly accepted as well! All proceeds go to the Illage Summer Camp fund and are given directly back to you in the form of temp tatts, first aid supplies, printed camp schedules, fireworks, snacks, sunscreen, floating fun islands, bedazzled trophies, friendship bracelets, s'mores and all kinds of camp-related perks. We'll play games, make crafts, make friends and don't forget about Sugar Pine's exciting winter activities. It's going to be a blast! Meet Dean-O: Dean-o is known for his energy and tenacity in reaching kids with the gospel, never forgetting he was a teen before hearing the good news of Jesus. It began in 1997 and has spread across the U.S. with over 1,700 performances in 40 states and a dove award nomination for children's album of the year. During these events and performances, over 10,000 children made first-time decisions to give their lives to Christ at concerts, camps, chapels, VBS weeks and large crusades. Staff ratio: 1 staff/3 participants. TRANSPORTATION : If attending ESY, contact your teens school to arrange transportation to camp for sessions 12592 and 12593.
