Kids day camp for the week of Aug 22nd through Aug. 26th Ages 7 through 12 - or first grade and up. Camp runs Monday through Thursday- 9:30am to 3:30pm Children should pack a lunch or bring money to buy food at the Subway in our parking lot. Before and after care are available for an additional fee - see below. Camp must be pre-registered. Our program is focused on teaching historical arts connected to the martial culture of Europe in the time of the crusades and beyond to the 16th century. Clash of the Heroes Super heroes will go through trials, obstacles and traps using the Ev3 intelligent Brick from LEGO. Students are encouraged to brainstorm in order to find creative solutions to problems and then develop them through a process of selecting, building, testing and evaluations. Students will enjoy exploring music through playing games, singing, dancing, and playing a variety of instruments. A portion of each day will be spent in the piano lab, and students will have the opportunity to learn a song or two on the piano during the week. Piano skills are not required to register as instruction will be tailored to individual ability levels. Students entering grades 1-3 are invited to join Mrs. Mott and Mrs. Croll for an action packed camp full of engaging and fun music activities.
