The Middle School Band program is designed to accommodate musicians ranging from the most talented and proficient to the less experienced, with a minimum of one year of training on their chosen instrument. It is open to entering grades 7, 8 or 9. The concert bands are conducted by outstanding band directors from around the state. This session provides an excellent opportunity for young musicians to improve their individual performance skills. Instruction includes rehearsals, sectionals, master classes, supervised practice, and optional private lessons. Students who have completed the 8th grade may register for Middle School and/or High School Band Camp 512-232-2080

Albany Gems Summer Youth Dance Camp - Albany, OR
The Gems are hosting their 2nd Annual Summer Dance Camp on July 16-17th, 2016. This is a two day camp for 1st - 8th grade dancers of all abilty and skill levels. For over 20 years, the Chicago White Sox have brought quality baseball instruction to children throughout Chicagoland! If you want to be the best, youve got to train with the best! The Little Sluggers (Ages 5-6) is designed to introduce your child to the game of baseball. Our intermediate camp (Ages 7-8) includes fundamental skill-building activities, like throwing, hitting, bunting, fielding, pitching and base running. The Advanced camp (Ages 9-11) builds upon the basics and incorporates team play, advanced base running and other techniques that could be used on the field. On the final day, all players will get the opportunity to judge their improvement by playing a game. Each participant will receive an EXCLUSIVE U.S. CELLULAR FIELD EXPERIENCE, plus six White Sox ticket vouchers, academy hat, t-shirt, evaluation report and graduation certificate. Day Camp Session II - St. Johns Country Day School
Excitement awaits the day campers, ages 4 - 13, as they report to their air-conditioned cabins, located on the campus of St. Johns. Grouped by age and supervised by trained, full-time counselors, the campers safety and enjoyment are the primary concerns of each staff member. We also offer a specialized self-contained summer camp program for four year olds. Campers will be under the supervision of our certified Lower School teachers. Activities include arts and crafts, music and movement, outdoor fun, and story time. Children that wish to participate in our four-year-old program must turn four years of age before June 10, and be potty trained. Children need to bring lunch and a change of clothes. Campers enjoy the use of St. Johns 26-acre campus, including its outdoor athletic fields and play equipment, shower and locker facilities, fine arts resources, 25-yard swimming pool, computer labs, and air-conditioned gymnasiums. All campers through grade 4 have swim lessons. Standard guidelines are used to establish swimming levels, and parents receive a report at the end of each two-week session.
