So You Want to Be an Animal Trainer: March 21 st Lions, Tigers & Bears OH MY. Well here at EcoAdventures its Gators , Snakes & Lizards, OH MY! Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be an animal keeper? If yes, then youve come to the right place. Not only has some of our staff worked in some great zoos and aquariums but we have a great collection of our own! This camp was designed for students that want to find out what it is like to work with animals. Maybe you could be a dolphin trainer or animal trainer, or even a vet? It a lot of fun working with animals but you will also be introduced to the non –glamorous things you do as a zoo keeper. Thats right- the yucky stuff- Clean poop! We wont make you clean it- but you can get to make, inspect and eat your own edible chocolate poop for a snack to give you energy to prepare to pass the physical tests: shoveling hay, carrying heavy buckets of food? Play some fun relay races to prove you are ready! Then meet a special guest in the animal field... (410) 279-5416

This day camp is for children in kindergarten through 8th grade. My 6 year old son and my 10 year old daughter have both have learned the importance of being responsible and respectful through this camp. Ages 13+ Tuesdays after school Sept 20 - Dec 6 All you have to do is join and you're in a band. Just like that. In our Rock Band Boot Camp for teens you start playing together on the very first day and you don't stop. It doesn't matter how much or how little experience you have. You'll learn how to rock out with others. While rocking out with your peers in the rehearsal studio, you'll get better at your instrument and develop your skills—and your swagger. Summer break is an opportunity to unwind and recharge as we unplug from the busy demands of the school year. Join us this summer for a Kids Kundalini Yoga Camp, an opportunity to experience the foundations of Kundalini Yoga and explore a practice of self-awareness. Through yoga, meditation, dance, stories, and hands-on activities we will journey through the bliss and playfulness of Kundalini yoga. Through this practice children can gain improved focus, a boost in confidence and Self-awareness, and build the foundation of their identity. (Ages 4-7) Our youngest artists will have an exciting time becoming printmakers. Students will engage in group activities designed to promote teamwork and creative thinking through the creation of a collaborative class project, will make their own stamps and printing plates, use an etching press and have a stomping good time with Miss Marjorie! Storytellers (Ages 4-7) Storytelling helps students improve their language skills, instills a love of reading and stirs imaginations. In this first-time class, talented professor of visual art Jennifer Pepper will guide students through painting, drawing and mixed media activities based on a variety of classic and contemporary children’s stories. Sculpt This! (Ages 8-12) Students will explore sculpture by examining the distinct ways artists have explored 3D forms throughout history. We will examine a variety of materials used by sculptors and learn techniques that artists use to communicate their ideas and feelings in three dimensions and get inspired to create their own!
