3D Modeling & Printing: Cedar Way - Cedar Way Elementary
Working collaboratively in pairs, students will discover how to build objects in 3D suitable for 3D printing, utilizing the online platform, TinkerCad. Smart with Art educators will teach students to work with 3D design elements, learn about creating art in perspective, all while exploring practical applications of 3D technology. We will challenge their spatial skills with ocean themed, art-related activities. Students will be able to create a personalized 3D model to print and take home at the end of class. Advanced Development Camp: Session 3 - Cabin John Regional Park
Big Train Manager Sal Colangelo has designed these camps for advanced training for young players with above-average skills. On Monday, Big Train players and coaches will lead the campers through a series of drills designed to improve skills and choose teams for the weeks showcase games. Each day from Tuesday through Friday, camp will begin with one hour of skills training followed by a 7-inning showcase game on Field #2. Each camper will receive an official Big Train & BCC Baseball Summer Camp t-shirt that will entitle the camper free admission to all Big Train home games at Shiryley Povich Field during the 2015 regular season. For an additional $90, the participants in the Advanced Development Player Camps may attend the regular Big Train Camp in the afternoon until 3 p.m. 301-365-1076

Camp Deep Space - San Juan Del Rio Catholic School
Camp Deep Space takes campers to the edge of the universe on a mission to make a distant planet habitable for humans using LEGO Mindstorms NXT kits. Our videos and animations help campers build and learn programming, tackle building challenges, and hone their robotic and project planning skills. Science factoids are interspersed throughout, accompanying engineering design activities tied into space exploration. Camp Deep Spaces curriculum has been developed by Carnegie Mellon Universitys Robot Academy. Campers will work in teams to complete their missions. As an extra bonus, campers construct and launch two of their very own Estes Rockets. Campers will take their rockets home with them. Parents are invited to join us on Fridays Family Day to view their childs rocket launch. We are on our way to the final frontier! Our camps are 9am-4pm with pre and post camp options available as well! Please pack a peanut-free snack, bag lunch and refreshment for your child. Garden Sprouts (Grandparent and Me) (AM) - Ned Smith Center for Nature & Art
Children love being outside playing in the soil, and they love exploring how plants grow in a garden. Join us as we channel your childs natural curiosity as we learn about flowers and edibles from planting to plate. This camp will include a variety of projects plus tastings of a variety of plants and plant parts ranging from roots to flowers (these are all things you normally eat.).
