Bring your kids, grandchildren, nieces, nephews. WFBCHU 2nd annual youth camp. Friday, September 18: Check in 5 pm. Ride at 6 pm. Hobo dinner assembly upon return from ride. Leave No Trace demonstration during dinner. Guitar music and sing along. Hobo dinners and smores provided by Chapter. Saturday, September 19: Creakfast cooked and provided by Chapter. Decorate your horse with animal friendly paint, glitter, ribbons, feathers, etc. We will lead decorated ponies through campground. PM ride if desired. First aid demo. Dinner hot dogs, chips, pork n beans provided by Chapter. Scavenger hunt 7 pm. Campfire smores and music. Sunday, September 20: Breakfast provided by Chapter. Ride. Good byes. Summer Teen Camp - Brevard, NC
This summer we will be going to camp on week 10. That will be August 3rd – 8th. The evangelist will be Tom Farrell. Every teen and junior is invited to join us for summer camp. Teen campers must be 12 years old by September 1, 2015 and junior campers must be at least 9 years old by September 1, 2015. The cost for teen campers is $345.00, if you register before February 1st you will save $50.00 The cost for junior camp is $335.00, if you register before February 1st you will save $50.00 This year you can register online and just be sure to join your registration up with Calvary Baptist Church of New Bern.

Woodworking Camp - Germantown Friends School
Young carpenters will enjoy a safe way to practice woodworking as they design and build a different project each week. Under the direction of lifelong woodworker and GFS teacher Edmund Livingstone, campers will work individually and collaboratively to plan, measure, cut, build and decorate their projects using wood, paper, nails, rubber bands, and imagination! Their finished products will be works of wonder and awe. Students will incorporate measuring, drilling holes, and strategically positioning their nails in each unique project. They then will customize their creations with arts and crafts. Safety and proper use of protective eyewear will be stressed at all times. This is a great beginning woodworking class for students to learn to use tools and, more importantly, to develop a lifelong love of working with their hands! Woodworking is a morning-only camp and participants may wish to stay for either Ceramics, Mandarin II -Golden Dragons Camp, or the Explorers Day Camp during the afternoon session.
