Teen Sewing Boot Camp - Edmonds, WA
Is your teen bored already? Sign him/her up for our week long beginning sewing boot camp running Monday through Friday, July 19 through 22 from 10 am to 2 pm daily. They will learn basic hand sewing techniques by hand making their own pin cushion and then graduate to sewing a pillowcase, pajama pants a skirt and other cool stuff., including getting to participate in a community project. You will need to bring your own sewing machine if you have one, and basic sewing supplies. A list of fabrics and notions will be sent to you once you have registered. Cost is $100. 2nd Annual Kadesh Youth Camp Come and join our last hoorah for the summer. !! Held at CAMP BERKSHIRE in Wingdale, NY on SEPTEMBER 4-6, 2015. Our speaker is our very own PASTOR JON CLAYBURN AGE: 18+ ( under 18, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian) Cost is $30 PER PERSON, which includes the stay, Saturday meals and Sunday breakfast, fun activities, and more summer memories. PAYMENT IS DUE by SEPTEMBER 1, payable to DANBURY-BETHEL SDA CHURCH. There is NO FOOD served on Friday evening, so we do encourage you to have something to eat beforehand or bring snacks to munch on. Pre-Algebra - St. Thomas High School
Classes are at 8 a.m.-10 a.m. or 10:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. Students required to take two courses will have classes at both times. Students register for the course/s required. Class times will be assigned based on availability. Only for St. Thomas incoming freshmen who are required to take a summer course(s) in Language Arts, Reading and/or Pre-Algebra as a condition of acceptance. If one or more of these courses are checked on the Pink Course Selection Sheet, the student must successfully complete the course(s) in order to continue as a St.Thomas student for the fall semester. If you are looking for an all encompassing camp for your child, then Day Camp is for you! Daily activities include swimming, arts and crafts, outdoor sports, choice time and much more. Just because its summer doesnt mean the learning has to stop. Bring your curiosity and check out our newest camp, High-5. We will explore fun activities to enrich your learning. From building projects to cooking and science experiments; Camp High-5 will blend traditional summer games, art & crafts with exciting, indepth, hands on theme based projects. High-5 is moving to a new location on site at Red Morton Community Center, with its very own fenced in playground and in room bathrooms. Come & taste the adventure!
