No parent wants to hear that their child has diabetes. But when you learn that it is manageable you carry on. That doesn't mean letting them go to camp was an easy decision. But once we visited with the staff at Camp Discovery we knew our girl was going to be supervised and look after by counselors who understood the challenges of living with diabetes. Hey there parents! We will be having a Kids Retreat for 3RD-5TH GRADERS out at Faith Christian Camp on February 12th! Arrival time is at 6:30 on that Friday and then pick up will be by 11:00am on Saturday morning. Dinner and brunch will be served. The cost is $10 per kid. Matt Johnson is the Dean for this retreat. There will be lots of games and fun activities for your child to participate in that evening. If you have any questions send us a message. We will be posting any updates or details on this page. Mainstage Morgantown submitted 12 area bands from WV, PA, OH, MD based on website, social media presence, recorded material, tour history, festival history, and local fanbase. The Summer Camp on the Road committee chose the following acts: The Company Stores Fletcher's Grove Grand Ole' Ditch The Jakobs Ferry Stragglers Dale and the ZDubs Each paid $5 entry recieves a voters card to submit anytime during the contest. The winning band wins a paid spot on this years Summer Camp Music Festival in Chillicothe, NY.

The Teen Girl Retreat, hosted by Wises Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Pineville, Arkansas, will be March 10th-11th at Budd Creek Baptist Camp. Registration will be on the 10th, 5:30-7:00. PRE-REGISTRATION will need to be done by February 20th. This will guarantee a T shirt for those registering & will give us a head count for food & dorms. Woodshop Wizards Wood Working Camp - San Marcos Community Center
Campers will learn hands on techniques that enable them to build their very own wood bi-plane, racecar, and complete train with an engine, caboose, and cars! All projects will be painted, personalized and taken home to treasure. Students use only safe, age appropriate hand tools. SPECIALTY CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY Participants wishing to drop an enrichment class/specialty camp must contact Community Services at (760) 744-9000 x3501. Half-day Specialty Camps A full refund of fees, less a $10 cancellation fee, will be granted if the request is made on the Thursday prior to the start of the camp week. (If the request is made after the Thursday prior to the start of the camp week but before the first day, a full refund, less a $20 cancellation fee, will be granted). Food trucks food craze! During this week we will discuss food trucks food, decorate aprons, chefs, hats, and make a fun menu of food truck treats! Your chef will prepare and bake things like cupcake pancakes, corndog muffins, star spangled strawberries, homemade mini pizzas, and confetti cake in a jar! We will provide tickets and invite the other students to come and taste some of our fun menu creations.
