Girls Outdoor Adventure Sampler - Positive Energy Outdoors
Looking for an all-girls outdoor adventure this summer? The Positive Energy Girls Outdoor Adventure Sampler creates a unique opportunity for girls to have fun developing skills in a variety of outdoor pursuits. Our focus is on supporting girls to develop positive images of themselves, their abilities, and their connection to the outdoor world. Camp activities will include rock climbing, watersports (kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming), working with our draft horse team, hiking, cooking in a solar oven and meeting Positive Energys kennel of sled dogs. Well be using them all week creating toys and trinkets. Is your child looking for the perfect desk organizer? Or, do those model kits your child buys at the store not perfectly match his/her vision for the Dungeons and Dragons character they wish to create? Now is the time to design it and 3D print it! Team Prep USA will host their 9th annual Rocky Mountain Cross Country Camp in Crested Butte/Gunnison, Colorado. Camp will be held at the Western State College in Gunnison Colorado, home of the Division II perennial powerhouse Mountaineers distance programs and just 30 minutes south of Team Prep USAs headquarters and training center. Attendees of camp will have the opportunity to train at elevations ranging from 7,700 ft. to 10,500 ft. of the Colorado Rocky Elk Mountain Range. The Gunnison Valley of Colorado has become a Mecca, according to Nike for athletes of all kinds to train. Instruction will focus on performing techniques with less time and space, and making tactical decisions at a higher speed. Each day, players receive top flight instruction from the nationally ranked and recognized University of Tulsa Mens and Womens Coaches as well as other top Collegiate, Club and High School coaches and players. Registration will be Sunday from 1-3 and pick up will be Thursday at 11:30 am.
