This camp is an introduction to musicals that allows campers to experience what its like to tell a story through music. We will tell stories through original songs based on common fairytales with each child getting an opportunity to have lines, sing, and dance. Campers will play fun theatre games that will help them get more comfortable in social situations through using their imagination and creativity. These young performers will get the unique experience of being able to perform on a stage. INSTRUCTOR MICHAEL PAGE has been teaching theater for 8 years and has been choreographing in local community theaters for the past 10 years. He recently received a BA in Theater and Dance from Christopher Newport University. He currently works as a Music and Movement Teacher at VHBC Preschool as well as teaches classes at LTA, Mount Vernon REC Center, and Browne Academy. He teaches private acting, dancing, and guitar lessons from his home. He is happy to have been given the position of Summer Camp Director this year and hopes to make a positive educational experience for all summer camp students. 7036835778 x2

Come celebrate The Summer Camp with us! Open bar, free food, camp things and The Wooly DJ! TSC sends over 350 underprivileged girls (ages 6-18) from low-income and foster families to camp in Maine each summer. Unlike similar organizations, TSC brings campers back year after year. So the programming— and the community— grow with the campers. TSC also provides a literacy program to make sure that campers are reading at grade level as well as a mentorship program for “graduates." Heart Of Texas Preteen Camp is quickly approaching and I know we have alot of kids from Goldthwaite who want to go. ! This fundraiser is to off set the cost for the families of children wanting to attend. Preteen camp is for any child entering 4th - 6th grade is usually $145. At the luncheon we will serve: Tom Guthrie's FAMOUS Pulled Pork, Beans, Potato Salad, Bread, Pickles, Onions and Dessert.

Wright Skills Basketball Camp is a camp for girls entering grades 3-12 in September, 2016. The camp will focus on basketball fundamentals. Players will be grouped according to age and/or skill level. Activities will challenge players to improve their agility, develop their offensive and defensive skills, and build confidence. Each player will receive a camp T-shirt, an evaluation and compete for prizes. This camp meets from 9am to 12pm, Monday through Thursday, July 25-28 and/or August 1-4. Players are invited to attend one or two weeks. The camp will take place at the South Orange Middle School Gym. This camp is under the direction of Jazmine Wright. Jazmine was a 4 year varsity letter winner at Columbia High School. Her team won two Essex County Championships, 2 State Championships, and a berth at the Tournament of Champions final. During her time at Columbia, she became the all-time leading scorer (male or female) and leading rebounder for the girls? team. She garnered All-Area, All-Conference, All-County, All-State, and All-America honors while playing at Columbia.
