Little Linguists Spanish Camp - Norwood Local Park
Are we in Mexico? You would think you were with all the fun Mexican crafts, games, sports and music. Create your own mask, pinata, sombrero, maracas and much more. All in Spanish! Vamos Amigos! Bring your bathing suit each day for water fun! On Wednesday, Campers walk to the Bethesda pool adjacent to the park. Campers must pass a swimming test or stay in the shallow end. There will be a $25 material fee due the first day. Bring a bagged lunch. Physics Exploratorium - The Derryfield School

Teen Retreat - Cortland Bible Camp
A great weekend for Teens age 13-18, filled with songs, fellowship, fun! Registration starts at 7pm on Friday night and the fun goes through Sunday afternoon at 2pm. Its a great time to reconnect with camp friends from summer and meet new people as well but most importantly it is a a great time to be encourage in your walk with Christ. Horse Camp - Week 7 - The Greenwell Foundation
Horse Camp is for children ages 7 – 14 (by first day of camp session). This camp is the ideal setting to learn and discover all things horses! After discovering which horse they will be partnered with, campers are assigned to a lesson group based on their incoming skill set. Horsemanship is emphasized by allowing campers to saddle their own horse, help care for their horse and learn all about horse health. Riders will be taught safety, comfort in the saddle and control of the horse. More experienced riders will be challenged through the week with pre-jumping skills, some gymnastic exercises and leg yielding. Each day, each group will have the opportunity to ride in the morning for approximately 30-45 minutes after spending time grooming and tacking up horses. When not participating in a riding lesson, they will learn about barn management and all things horse! In addition to riding and working with the horses, campers will have the opportunity to do archery, kayaking, hiking, field games, crafts and get wet with water games. Drama Club/Shrek the Musical JR - 2nd Session - Annandale Village Gym
Children through young adults with HFA/Aspergers Syndrome have the opportunity to explore the art of improv, drama, and music with their peers. Drama Club is directed by a drama professional and music therapist who have extensive experience working with children and adults on the spectrum.This group provides participants with the opportunity to improve their communication skills within a small group or in front of a larger audience. Research has shown that children who participate in Drama/Acting activities improve their ability to react and respond to imaginary situations and feelings and eventually generalize these skills into their daily living.
