Teen Plein Air: Art In Motion Camps #1 & 2 - Bow, WA
Choose from Camp #1 July 11th-15th or Camp #2 July 18th-July 22nd. Class Cost per week $87.50. Camp #1: 3:00pm-5:00pm -- Plein Air (**Students encouraged to participate in Part I & II) "Examining our surroundings in detail, seeing beauty not only in the spectacular but also in the smallest growing things" (Lowenfeld) . 5 Day Intro to programming camp. (Girls and Boys ages 8 to 12) Has your child mastered the remote control, tablet and smartphone? They play games, watch movies and DVR their favorite TV shows. Your little genius may have even remembered your App Store password. But, have you ever wondered how to get them interested in learning more about the technology behind all their favorite devices? The URPLE camp was designed to address that specific challenge in a fun, engaging and entertaining way. In this camp, your child will learn the basics principles of computing. In our hands on workshop they will build and customize their very own Raspberry Pi computers. While a lot of fun, this learning toy is a full-blown Linux based computer that your child will learn the fundamentals of programming on. Olympics (3rd-6th) - Mulberry School
You dont have to be an athlete to join in this camp taught by Mulberrys Miles Lewis. Activities will be centered around fun and cooperative team sports as well as individual activities. In the spirit of the Olympics, well have plenty of team-building and sportsmanship opportunities. Activities will be driven by the campers. On any given day, campers may play soccer, frisbee golf, basketball, do gymnastics, martial arts, or participate in track and field events. Well start the week with Opening Ceremonies as the campers run through the campus and pass the torch to each "country," and well close with a Flag Ceremony. Throughout the week, campers will decide on the medals to be given and help to create them with all of the USA themed crafts well have available. Campers will also create flags (maybe they will choose a favorite country or create their own) for the closing ceremony.
