This activity may not be registered for individually because it is part of a package.A local favorite for many years, Seaside Day Camp is held at the newly renovated Scout House at Glen Park, Cardiff ?by-the Sea. Have your child experience the local wonder of the great outdoors through Encinitas parks, trails, ocean and wild life. Our caring and experienced camp staff share the goal of providing a fun and safe environment that helps nurture the social, physical, educational and emotional wellbeing of each child. Campers will enjoy a healthy daily snack and a weekly field trip in addition to all the fun activities that are offered throughout the week. Please join us this summer there are several great memories just waiting to be made at Seaside Day Camp! Seaside Day Camp hours of operation are 9 am ? 3 pm. By completing this camper packet, parents are acknowledging and agreeing to the following. Goochland County Parks, Recreation & Facilities Expectations for Summer Camps 1. Participants, their parents, and Parks, Recreation & Facilities staff are to be respectful to each other at all times. 2. Camper Information sheet must be completed and turned into Recreation Division by childs first day of camp. 3. All registrants must conduct themselves in a way in which they do not endanger their own safety or the safety of others. 4. Review and abide by the Departments guidelines for discipline. 5. The parent and/or guardian must provide or arrange for necessary transportation for their children both to and from the program sites. 6. Registrants are expected to be dressed appropriately and to properly participate in activities. 7. All personal belongings must be labeled. 8. Each child must bring a lunch, drink, and a snack daily. Girls Basketball - Session 2 - Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy
Where: NDP main gym About: NDP girls basketball camp teaches young players the fundamentals of the game. Those new to the sport will learn the skills of ball handling, shooting, passing, rebounding and defense, while more experienced players will be challenged to further develop their competency in those areas. While great focus is paid to individual skill work, ample time is devoted to a variety of competitions. Running the camp is NDP coach Kathleen Offer, who played collegiately at Yale and has coached in the Fighting Irish program for eight years. The entire staff, which includes current NDP girls basketball players and coaches, is dedicated to challenging the campers to the best of their ability while they have lots of fun with old and new friends.
