Adventure Tennis Camp - Off Site Location
Tennis 3.5 hours per day Adventure 2.5 hours per day During the first part of the day, campers join our regular tennis camp and have lunch. Children will be divided by level and develop tennis strokes, rallying skills, and age appropriate competitive play. Campers learn teamwork, make friends and enjoy fun games like Angry Birds Tennis, Skyball, and Big Kahuna. All camps feature Higgins Bucks, Water Fun Day (no swimming) and the Higgins Bucks Store where children buy prizes on Fridays. In the afternoons we set out on an Adventure! Adventures include: Flyers Day: Build a kite or glider and fly them at Blackies Builders Day: Make a Native American mat or basket, or a model airplane Hiking Days: Along Blackies Shore and up to "Hippie Tree" Board Game Mania ACTIVITY OTHER CATEGORY 3. Campers will not only be able to do their own makeup, hair, nails, and other styling, but can also design fashion for one of their dolls! We will teach campers how they themselves can design custom outfits for their dolls, and customize outfits for themselves too! Join at anytime. A prorated refund of fees, less a $10 cancellation fee, will be granted if the request is made before the second camp day. Students who transfer from one camp to another will be charged a $10 transfer fee. AKA Diamond Sports week features daily instruction, plenty of hitting and fielding, games, including our coveted World Series Event, as well as a trip to see the Twins! Our staff is made of several high school and college baseball and softball players who are great at teaching their sport and who make Diamond Sports Week extremely fun. Featured Fieldtrip - Thursday, June 23 - Minnesota Twins vs. Philadelphia Phillies (first pitch 12:05pm) FYI - The actual day camp runs from 9am-4pm though kids are welcome to get dropped off as early as 7am and picked up as late as 6pm. Have you ever wanted to take your own vision of a play, musical, or scene and translate it to stage? At LAC you can learn how to create, stage, and communicate your own vision. Students will learn the fundamentals of the stage, working with various types of personalities and roles (actors, designers, and stage managers), and how to communicate your ideas successfully for a cohesive production. 703-444-5888

August Evening Camp - Dogwood Hill Elementary School
For children ages U6-U7, our camps will introduce and develop your childs love of soccer through a sequence of dribbling, shooting, balance, running, jumping, and movement educations drills along with a variety of fun-filled games. Your child will learn how to follow direction and improve their social skills by connecting with their peers and instructors. For children ages U8-U10, our camps will reinforce proper technique and develops players athletic abilities through a sequence of lifting & juggling, eye-foot coordination, running with the ball, passing, receiving, moves while dribbling, and heading & crossing drills. Your child will learn how to dominate the ball by having the correct body mechanics. Player development is achieved with game-like activities and is enjoyed by all players. In addition, if your child is preparing to play for a recreation or club team; this program will institute the fundamental soccer skills required for the next level of competition. For players ages U11-U14 and U15-U19, our camps allow the developing player to be competent in all aspects of basic techniques through a sequence of educational movement and execution.
