NFL Pouncey Twins Youth Football Camp - Lakeland, FL
The Lakeland PAL Youth is proud to partner with NFL superstars Michael and Maurkice Pouncey to host the 6th Annual Pouncey Twins Youth Football Camp on Saturday July 9, 2016. The free camp will take place from 8AM – 12PM at Lakeland Christian School, located at 1111 Forest Park Street. Boys and girls ages six to sixteen are invited to come develop their football skills with help from NFL players and coaches from across Polk County. To guarantee a spot, parents must pre-register their child. Afternoon: Robots on the Rampage Join us on an adventure that requires creative thought, time management and team communication as groups build a diverse range of off-road vehicles that battle other robots, race against the clock and play tug of war! This class will discuss drive and follower gears and the various ranges of gear ratios. Can a fast vehicle out perform a robot with lots of power? Here is your chance to learn which gear ratios are associated with speed or torque. Chaos and Havoc rule the day in this ruckus of Robots on the Rampage. Note: Even though between some weekly sessions there might appear the same program names, in our actual education program, we will have different depth of technology and engineering principles to be applied by our children under our inspirational guidance... Kids Art Camp Spring 2015 Looking for a creative way to fill the spring break week? Campers, ages 6–9, gain inspiration from SJMA exhibitions and participate in hands-on projects that offer in-depth art experiences and technical instruction. Summer Camp Week 2 - Young Set Club
SUMMER CAMP DETAILS We are pleased to announce that Young Set Club summer camp will continue to serve families in and around the Conejo Valley. Our new location will be at Conejo Adventist Elementary School (CAES), 1250 Academy Drive, Newbury Park. CAES is just off the 101, about 4 miles west of the original Young Set property. We will also be featuring the swimming pool and gymnasium at Newbury Park Academy just a short hike down from CAES also on Academy Drive. Waterfalls & Wading - July 24 - Camp Pisgah
Come explore the treasured rivers and waterfalls of western North Carolina! In this session, practice boating on our lake, slide down a natural rock cascade, spend the afternoon tubing along a lazy river, hike through DuPont State Park and explore the waterfalls where the Hunger Games movie was filmed. You and your group will still have plenty of time for campfires and smores as well. Due to the nature of this program, girls must be able to swim 25 yards and tread water non-stop for two minutes in order to participate. 336-274-8491
