Youth Summer Boot Camp - Nolensville, TN
Boot camp Specifics: Advanced horsemanship with an emphasis in ground skills training, barrels, poles, jumping, trails, and obstacle competitions. Camp Details: Campers will learn about our everyday ranch life, experiencing what it's like to care for and tend to horses on a daily basis. They will work with our herd every day. Horseback Riding is a huge part of every day's activities. Campers learn Western and Huntseat Disciplines as well as horse health/hoof care, tack care & equine science. Advanced riders become a part of drill team exercises and are challenged to consistently improve their skills. Campers will be a member of a ranch family team in which they will have responsibilities. Crossroads Ranch Summer Camp is about young people taking an opportunity to get back in touch with themselves. All proceeds from this event will directly benefit our Summer Camp and year-round education/recreation programs and activities for youth and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities, and children with special medical needs. High School Camp - Warm Lake Camp
Youth camps include three balanced meals each day, organized and supervised recreation, missionaries, chapel, camp fires, Bible study, clean cabins and showers and a health supervisor. All campers participate in the entire camping program. Campers are expected to behave in a manner honoring to God. They will remain on the grounds except when participating in scheduled activities away from camp. Campers leaving early must have written permission from parents. Campers are to be in camp by the end of the first day. NOTE: All swimming sessions are supervised, but not necessarily by certified lifeguards. Any concerns or questions should be directed to the Camp Dean of the camp you will be attending. Triple Threat Musical Theater (July 5) - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
Acting, singing, and dancing are all aspects of musical theatre, master them all, and you become a triple threat. This camp will help build these talents through the firsthand experience of performing in a musical. This firsthand experience will provide campers with the knowledge they need to participate in a theatrical production at their school or in the community and allow your child to get ahead of their performing peers. Farm Fun - Farm Store
Farm Fun camp is a unique opportunity for campers to work with the livestock, gardens, and natural areas at Greenacres while exploring the science happening on the farm. The camp will also include plenty of games, exploration, and farm fresh treats. Past camp activities have included assisting with weighing cattle, testing soil, planting cover crops, making pickles, spending time with the sheep, and Brix testing vegetables. This camp is best suited to campers with an interest in exploring the science behind farming and gardening, who get excited about real farm work! Please wear sturdy close-toed shoes or boots.
