Teen Yoga Camp - Bryan, TX
Meeting Monday-Friday, 1-5p, the student will get TWO yoga classes each day, Vinyasa and Restorative. We will also have time to create different elements/crafts that will help the student continue this practice after the camp is finished. We will make journals, mala beads, eye pillows, and they will learn to blend tea and make their own blend to take home. The price also includes 3 additional weeks of unlimited yoga. Our desire with this program is to offer an avenue for the youth in our community to learn how to quiet their mind and to build self-awareness. Studies have shown learning these basic human fundamentals help increase tests scores, better decision making, improved communication skills.

Kids After Schoo Core Cooking Camp, Ages 5-8 (Bellevue) - Bellevue, WA
This is a wonderful program that will lay the foundation for healthy eating by educating and empowering students (ages 5-8) about basic kitchen safety, creating a healthy balanced plate, how to subsititue ingredients to make meals healthier and so much more! Classes are sold in a session of four, are held on Wednesdays frm January 4th-25th and are two hours long. The first 30 minutes of each class is dedicated to nutrition education including games and activities. The remaining time is dedicated to cooking, eating, and cleanup. Our Core Cooking Program covers topics such as: Kitchen Safety, Cross-Contamination, Healthy Snacks, Fueling Your Body, Healthy Breakfasts, MyPlate Nutrition, Lunch N Munch, Healthy Cooking Substitutions of Kids’ Favorite Foods Activity sheets, recipes, helpful tips, and individual workstations for hands-on activity are included in the course. Recipes may include things like: avocado veggie dip, peanut butter banana whole wheat coins (nut-free substitutions available if needed), eggs in a basket, French toast, chocolate banana & strawberry smoothie, cranberry broccoli salad, zesty bean dip, pizza spiral sandwiches, sweet potato fries, steak/chicken/veggie grilled skewers, and Parmesan chicken tenders. Week 7 PM - Keelboat Adventures - NESS
Keelboat Adventures is a perfect fit for those kids who want to learn to sail on bigger boats. Our 23 foot Sonar will take these students all over Fishers Island Sound. A NESS instructor will be onboard while students learn how to work as a team to get this boat cruising. Wildlife Explorers One-Day Camp - Harris Nature Center
For children going into 4th, 5th & 6th grade Kids will connect with animals as they explore their habitats, find evidence of their passing, spend time getting to know the HNC critters and even have the chance to help with feeding them.
