Footsteps Mandarin Immersion Summer Camp is an opportunity for extended Mandarin immersion. While having a fantastic time, your child will begin to acquire the ability to use Mandarin correctly and confidently in various daily tasks and social situations. Our dynamic, experienced staff is either native speaking or fluent. Campers spend each day moving from one activity to the next, designed to provide an immersion experience while still allowing for a ton of fun. Your child will love exploring the language and traditions of China by tasting authentic Mandarin cuisine—using Chinese words, of course, and learning about and creating traditional Mandarin arts and textiles and taking field trips to expand your childs knowledge. A week or more of camp will help boost your childs language ability! There is a weekly field trip and special event. Two healthy snacks are provided each day. The W Theater proudly presents, "Acting Up" A Children & Teen Performing Arts Camp. If you have a child or teen between the ages of 6 and 18 and they love "Acting Up", please register them for this camp (workshop). Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 11am - 5pm at the Broward County Main Library Auditorium Downtown Ft. Lauderdale. There will be age appropriate acting and singing classes with experienced instructors and assistants. YOU ARE REGISTERING FOR CHAMPION CLASSES AT TPC ON WEDNESDAYS FROM 6-7PM The Champion Level Program is for players looking to expand their golf skills, improve on-course play, and, for players who may be interested, playing high school golf. The Champion Program focuses on short putting, long putting, short chipping, long chipping, pitching (high shots), pitching (low shots), posture and best routines, grip basics, club face control, driving success, iron consistency, hybrid and fairway metals and on-course strategies. Our lesson plans will go more in depth in etiquette, rules of golf, golf skills, shot making, and begin discussions for those that want to pursue local competitions. The Champion Session Package Includes: - Three 60-minute supervised practice sessions - One 60-minute On-Course Coaching Session (held at course to be determined) - One 30-minute private lesson with a Suzy Certified Instructor - SWJGA Hat - Low Student-Instructor Ratio Requirements for the Champion Level Program: - Ages 7-17 (based on class size, players will be grouped by age) - Consistently Scores 48-60 for 9 Holes and has passed the Medalist Benchmarks (860) 306-6059

Campers participate in a wide variety of activities including earning badges, hiking, outdoor cooking, learning outdoor skills, crafts, games, singing and more. Girls entering grade 6 in Fall 2016 will be going horseback riding one day during the first week of camp (additional waiver form required for this activity). Girls are will spend the night at camp on Wednesday, July 27th with their unit.
