Lino Lakes Public Safety Department, Centennial Lakes Police Department, Centennial Fire District, Lexington Fire Department, and Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department present the Annual Safety Camp! Unintentional injuries are the leading cause of serious injury and/or death of children. This camp is taught by those who respond to those types of incidents each day in an effort to reduce the numbers of injuries that occur each year. The camp includes sessions on bike safety, fire safety, 911 procedure, water safety, personal safety, electrical safety, outdoor safety and first aid - all in an informative and fun atmosphere. The knowledge campers learn will allow them to make the right decisions when faced with unsafe conditions. Safety Camp is intended for children entering 4th grade the fall of 2016. Pre-registration is required and limited to the first 150 participants Priority will be given to residents residing in Lino Lakes, Circle Pines, Lexington, and Centerville until June 17. On Friday, April 29th, 2016, Royal Family KIDS Camp #273 will be hosting their annual Dessert Benefit & Silent Auction. The event will take place at the Lewiston Community Center (1424 Main Street - Lewiston, ID) from 6pm-9pm. The cost is $5/person, or $20 for a family of 5. This is our biggest fundraising event of the year. Royal Family KIDS Camp is a non-profit week-long summer camp for foster children who have been abused, abandoned, neglected, etc. All of the proceeds from this event go directly to the children we support.
