Robotics Adventures - College Prep Middle
Robotics Adventures – (5th Grade) Students will build a Robot using Mindstorms robotics equipment. Students will then learn how to program and manipulate the Robot with coding on a laptop. There is a limit to 16 children for the class. The curriculum for the Robotics Club is different for each quarter, allowing for new material to be added per quarter. But the different curriculum also allows for new students to join in without having had previous Robotics experience. Students do not need to bring anything to the Club. Summer Inspired on the Farm - Deep Roots Community Farm
Join us for this three day farm adventure! We will plant, tend and eat fresh fruits and vegetables from the gardens, build with natural materials, and explore the farms streams, forests and native prairie. We will tend to the farm animals and learn about respectful methods of animal care. And of course, well make some awesome art projects together, including hand stitched journals, water color paintings, woodworking, origami, upcycled CD art and so much more. During this session our biology lessons will explore monarch butterflies and their habitats. All programming is led by Ana Skemp, M.S.
