Could you suggest camp options for a 10 year old boy?
If you're opening to travel, I would suggest making a list of what you (and your son) are looking for in a camp. Is there a particular activity he likes or would like to try? Is a religious based program important, if so, how important? Do you want it to be an all boys camp or would you prefer a coed experience? I suggest looking at American Camp Association Accredited camps. Also program length is important. If your son is independent and does well away from home you could consider a two-week program. If he does not do well away...

KID'S BEGINNER SEWING ART CAMP June 15 - 17 @10am - 2pm Ages: 12-16 This is not just an ordinary "learn to sew" camp. Our students will design and create their own fabric using surface design techniques. They will learn how to use a sewing machine and also, basic sewing skills. With their new found skills they will sew a super cool backpack and pillowcase. Lots of paint, screens and unique personal designs will abound. The students will have fun experimenting with stamps, screens and printmaking to create their fabric art! We encourage our students to be Fearless and unique!!! All supplies included. Taught by Sandy Gillespie: Fiber Artist, Baker and Crafter We have sewing machines, but it's best for your child to learn on their own machine if you have one...otherwise, no worries! Camp Constitution's Annual Family Summer Camp - Rindge, NH
Dear Friends, Campers, Staff, and All, Camp season is coming! We’ve secured Toah Nipi in the beautiful woods of Rindge, New Hampshire, for Sunday, July 10 – Sunday, July 17, 2016. Back for her third year, Mrs. Kris Anne Hall, a vigorous young mother will again be teaching about heroic men and women from our countryʼs founding, and the documents of freedom leading up to it. There will be a whole line-up of speakers and teachers, with more to be announced. Other returning instructors or mentors include with Mr. Peik,Mr. Shurtleff, Mr. Hoderny, Mr. “V,” and me. Mr. Peik will again lead Campfires, the Round Robin for Student Input and Q & A, and weʼll even find time for a final exam to help you see your progress! Family Camp is growing! We will again conduct the Junior Patriot Camp Program, making for a truly great family vacation! We welcome families with younger children, or no children, plus grandparents, and others (See worksheet for family accommodations.) We always have a wonderful group of young people and it is so good to see them interacting well with the little ones, with each other, with the grown ups, and even with us ancient ones! Green Scene 4th-8th - Evergreen Country Day School
Learn about our beautiful planet and all of the wonderful green energy that we can use to help keep our homes and our lives healthy and balanced. We will explore a new energy theme each day, make crafts, and do experiments based on the themes. We will also explore ways that we can make our everyday lives more peaceful and happy with different sensory games involving art and music and exercises like yoga and Tibetan meditation. This will be a week focused on making the world a better place to live while also improving the quality of our inner wellbeing. This hands-on camp reveals the rewards and excitement of LEGO robotics. Working with a partner, your child will learn about mechanical design, gear ratios and computer programming using the LEGO Mindstorms robotics system. Campers will also be creating their own video game. Participants will create background settings, characters, animated movements and sound effects. Participants will be introduced to computer programming using easy to learn tools and increase their knowledge of robotics technology while enjoying time with their peers.
