Old Davie School - Session 2 Only (July 18, 2016-August 12, 2016) Advanced levels of study in voice and diction, character analysis, scene study, dialects, styles and methods. Show: Pippin Heir to the Frankish throne, the young prince Pippin is in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield and the intrigues of political power. It's our 11th annual Fullerton Football Youth Camp. Please join us from Thurs. June 25-27 for three full days of football and fun. Fundamentals will be learned, lessons will be earned, and calories will be burned. We need all the support we can get. The Dorman summer football camp is a non-contact camp designed to teach the fundamentals of the game of football to rising 2nd - 8th graders. Bling My Room - Lower School
Does your childs room need a makeover? This camp allows children to create beautiful pieces that add glam to their room! Each piece becomes a one-of-a-kind creation as campers get to combine many different artistic mediums. They learn canvas painting by completing a monogrammed painted canvas ready to hang. They learn the art of mosaics by creating their own message board. They learn pottery painting and glazing techniques by creating their very own tissue box cover. Hip Hop: Breaking the Rules 101 - The Evergreen School
What is it like to break the rules...on purpose?! Hip hop has a reputation for rule breaking in dance throughout its history. After all, hip hop was originally used as a peaceful way of creating change in a violent time through inter-city territory wars. In this class, students will learn about the history of hip hop, and how early hip hop created a movement in society towards positive change as we create our own dance of positive change! This camp is a week long session where players are expected to have previous tennis experience. The players will be grouped by skill level and will be given the opportunity to improve their skills in a fun and encouraging atmosphere. The daily schedule will consist of match play, drills, competitive games, individual time with the coaches, footwork training, strategic thinking, and pool time. Players will work on the following: groundstrokes, volleys, overheads, serves, singles and doubles play. Each day Players will learn new techniques and different ways to approach their opponent in a match. Players will be faced with constant challenges in a way that will only increase their passion for tennis. This camp will help further develop the players skills, giving them the confidence to continue playing tennis. Hannah Jones, a member of the Saint Marys School class of 2016, will be leading this summers Tennis Academy. She has been playing tennis since she was a young girl and has a passion for this sport. Hannah has been on the SMS Varsity tennis team for three years and is also involved with many extracurricular activities in and outside of school. Camp Half-Blood is offered in one-week sessions to boys and girls ages 7 through 12. Each session pulls its theme from a different Greek Myth. Using storytelling, live action role play and physically and mentally engaging activities, campers work with their friends to develop new skills, solve problems and create summer memories that will last a lifetime. Demi-Gods will learn archery, sword-fighting, forging, story-making, myth-writing, and create greek-inspired crafts. All of which theyll need in their weekly (quests) to find and defeat the ancient monsters that roam the hills and paths of our Prospect Park campsite. Camp Half-Blood is open to demi-Gods ages 7-12. Our drop-off and pick-up location is at the 9th Street and Prospect Park West entrance to Prospect Park.
